Nevermind I just realized how to figure it out by looking at the difference between the Assassin and Archers cooldown. Also on the Assassin, it says "COLLDOWN" instead of COOLDOWN.
I've only recently gotten into the Metroidvania genre, but I absolutely love it. And one of the thoughts I had while playing Symphony of the Night was "I would totally love to play a game that was just exploring through the map with equipment" And here I found this game and it fully satisfied my "Map clearing OCD." Loved it, and I thoroughly hope you do make a sequel where we "have to find all those items again for no apparent reason." Fantastic!
Glad you enjoyed it. I too am a 100% map fiend (or 200.6% in SOTN case), and love clearing it and exploring every little corner. So inspired me to make this little game :)
This is a fantastic game, I've always found these kind of optical illusions fun to look at and think about in different ways, so getting to actually explore one with a character is so much fun. You did a great job on this, I feel the need to complement your creativity as well as your design skills. 5/5.
The detail on the flag that is the wrinkle in the upper left makes it hard to read the stats when they cover it, could it possibly be moved or just removed?
Also @alittlemoreblue, if this hasn't been answered already Buddy is like a shield, or an extra life, he saves you from one (per upgrade) chainsaw or spike.
I still can't seem to play this game... It no longer completely freezes my browser which is nice, but I can't click on anything in the game window, not even the "New Game" button. Do I need to update my browser or something? Using Firefox btw.
Great concept, really fun but it just doesn't feel very rewarding, if you could add some goals to reach new levels or something like that that'd be awesome.
I noticed that on the Main Menu in the sort of Tutorial you have running on it, when it shows the Character Upgrade Menu the Speed and Smash Power labels are reversed (Speed label is pointing to the Power button, and Power label is pointing to the Speed button). Thought you might want to know. Great game, very addicting, which every Idle game should be lol.
So, I noticed that with the Savage it takes only 6 shots to kill one of the big guys, but with the Raiden it takes a lot more, even though it says it has 20 more dps.
