The lag is still terrible. I noticed the autosave spam after defeating an unknown soldier has been fixed, but the lag itself hasn't changed much. I gain over 100 levels each one I defeat and I also get over 100 "You leveled up. +5 skill points" spam.
In the late game after defeating an arena enemy, the lag is so great that the game freezes for over 30 seconds. The exp and funds I receive are shown in negative numbers and the game auto saves who knows how many times. Fix those issues and I think the lag wouldn't be nearly so bad.
I think it would be neat if there were sponsors that would pay you to advertise their products (purses, shoes, ect.) You could buy sponsorships to make those particular items worth more. For example, a sponsorship for shoes could double/triple the fps for itself.
Minor bug: When I complete a Collect award, the small popup says I mined xxxx gems, but when I go check under recent awards on the Awards tab, it says I earned a greater number. Great game though, keep it up!
I found a bug. After purchasing the 4,000 coins Idol upgrade, the next upgrade only costs 1,000 coins, then immediately jumps to 16,000 coins. I'm pretty sure the 1,000 should be 10,000.
I have encountered a couple of bugs. I cannot exceed 100 population despite my total population capacity is well over that amount. Also, whenever I lay off someone then buy another soldier, it doesn't confirm I bought it. It says I have 35 and buying any more doesn't increase that number. Fix these bugs and any others that people found and it's an easy 5/5.
When you say total population do you mean population or supported population? Supported population has no limit, while population is limited by supported population and territory. Does it take away your gold when you buy a soldier..?
I was able to purchase all the best buyable weapons/armour fairly quickly and had 27k gold left over when I finished the game. If there were more buyable gear or perhaps even skills, it would most definitely improve the game.
Holding space just to speed up the game and having to click on coins to collect them is extremely tedious and takes away from the actual game play. 3/5
Normally when a game plays only one song, it gets really irritating to the point that I mute the game. This song however, is very catchy! I love it ^_^
