So far I've found several glitches. One of the helpless "side-of-the-road" hirelings I got had no name, and came with a weapon that was constantly cycling through the weapon images and did "undefined" damage, instantly killing all enemies. I've had the town attack, infinite travel loop.. And just today I was doing the buccaneer mission with the "J.W. Traveler" mercenaries trying to catch me, and when one of them caught me, it got stuck halfway between battle and travel- no travel progress, but no "attack" button. No buttons at all, really. :/
"Someone should stay behind and stall them for time!"
-chorus of 'not it!'s-
"Well Shane, we appreciate it. It really means a lot to us."
"B-but, I don't wanna-"
"Thanks."
I think the game needs a bit more balance in the difficulty. The whole game is really easy up until the final boss, which is ridiculously hard, even when you figure out what to do.
Once you can make your difficulty curve a Curve and not a right angle, I'm sure your games will be much more fun. :)
Still pretty fun, though. Maybe I just like archery games though.
This is a GREAT game, wonderful story, good balance of easy and difficult enemies, and really scary stuff at some points. I never did find everything, though, and I guess that's part of it. 5/5
The concept is fine, but the controls are bad, and it seems to be full of bugs. For one, when I first started moving to the building, it launched my into the air, over it. The mouse "aiming" is off, it needs to either be so that going all the way across the screen is 360 degrees of motion, or disable the mouse outside of the game unless it's paused. For that matter, it really needs pause, a HUD for ammo for the gun, and maybe health, though it doesn't seem like you can actually die at all. A lot of the objects that were destroyable clipped through walls and such, and the character moved through a lot of walls as well. It has the beginnings of a game, but you really need to take care of this kind of stuff pre-release.
Okay, look.
For the 3 challenges:
1) The black imp resists all forms of attack, so you need a non elemental attack, which means Celestial Angel, Sky Dragon, or Meteor.
2) Rush the castle with all troops. Like, the second your heroes are up, hit assault. Either you'll destroy the castle, or you'll blow up the bomb before it gets in range of your base. Since everything has to get past it to go to the castle, everything attacks it for a while.
3) Popo, Succubus, Celestial Angel, Sylphs, and probably most of the other ranged attack units (with the exception of epic tank) can hit Baal from outside of his view range. You just have to be careful, because his attack range is a different story. If any of your units is seen, they're all gonna die. :/
I actually had a glitch a few times where an enemy would just ghost through my towers.. It freaked me out to see a slow just...mosying on through my carefully set maze...
