I had so much fun with this game :D I really enjoy the way you've animated the sea monsters and the details you've added with stories in the taverns and the histories of ports
I didn't really consider whether any of these were real or not until I read the one about my parents' home country and said out loud, "Well yeah, duh."
Hilarious and strategic in a way that I actually enjoyed! I usually don't like strategy games, because you have to replay the same levels over and over until you get things right, but here I was able to experiment with a short level every time and whenever I pleased. 5/5 :D
I love all the landmarks, the references to food and culture, and how you had Indian people of lots of different skin tones. I also really like that you included Tamil Nadu, since I'm Tamil (though I'm Sri Lankan, not Indian). And that the sign was in two languages instead of just English! This was pretty realistic, and it made me really happy :D (Also kinda want a lassi now. Wonder if I can convince my mom to make me one once she's done with the 4th of July cake she's making for today...)
I love how Poe-inspired this was. The Cask of Amontillado? Check. The Black Cat? Check. The Raven? Sorta. The Fall of the House of Usher? A dash. The Masque of the Red Death? A hint. Point is, there's a lot of Poe inspiration without being just copies of everything he did, and I love it!!!!
Thanks :) Another new playable character is coming soon.
