Advice: Transcending may sound like a bad idea first time because of how much you lose but let me tell you if you transcend, beat a primal boss (besides omeet) and then ascend it will make all your pre - transcendent time seem like a waste.
@Randi532 hero souls increase DPS and can be spent on ancients that boost you, make you stronger. The boost from ancients and hero souls multiply so be sure you are spending the right amount.
