Been playing this off and on for the past couple weeks, up to level 61 now, closing in on that last badge. Overall, I think this is an improvement over the last one, (which I did play all the way through, even bonus levels) for sure :)
i think the time allowed is a bit too strict... I understand that it's supposed to be challenging, but I would like a BIT of time to employ a bit more strategy, pick my moment and all.
I'd really like to see an option to end ore restart a level. When it's clear there's no way you can win it, it's annoying to have to sit through the green site annihilating you before you can give it another try.
I'm gonna go with what everyone else has said, it becomes monotonous quickly. but it would not be hard to fix. It's monotonous because the quests are boring, travel along the road and at the end each asks you to clear the roads (many of which you have just traveled through...). This could be spiced up with some simple dialogue changes. you get to the end and the guy is like "I don't know what to do, a dragon has stolen my daughter! He's holding her at ____. I would pay anyone who brought her back to me handsomely." then make the dragon have double HP or something. Just as long as it wasn't yet again clearing the paths. And at the towns there is a sign with a mug of ale on it, you could have a 'stop at tavern' option to catch up on gossip, you could get a lead on treasure at certain locations or whatnot, make the journey a bit more interesting.
not bad, but the margin for error is so tiny on some levels that even after you figure out what you need to do it can take several tries, and gets frustrating
Well, it never saved my progress, and I don't see a manual option to save anywhere. Like i said, I got to level 27, computer got shut down unexpectedly, got back and the profile I created was not even there.
good game, but an option to save your progress would be good. I made it to level 27, my cat stepped on the power button on my keyboard and shut off my computer.. *poof* back to square one.
