Dynamite cannonballs plus maxed out ships equals guaranteed win if and ONLY if you use the right ship lane of the "Buy Ship" tree. Did not do all the Star Upgrades, but maxed out Action Points first, then Accuracy, then Damage. Had only 5 on Hull and 3 on Cargo. Hope this helps people out
Ya gotta love the Iron Man outfit. Suggestion: when one has finally gotten that Suit, Black Sabbath could possibly play on instead of the game's music :P
Wonderful game, great enemy scaling. Final boss, like they usually are, was tricky but predictable. Worth the time spent leveling up the main character and the perfect 5/5 star rating
Great game, wonderful enemy scaling. The Premium weapons truly outweigh the regular ones and the shields do wonders for the later levels. Overall, an awesome combination of many things. 5/5
Honestly, I don't truly know what to say, other than this: add a point counter, some upgrades, a possible timeline, a visual upgrade, the llamas could be shooting lasers themselves, and maybe a boss level or 5. Other than that, needs a bit more work, good sir. 2/5
If Apokalyx has 4 badges, why can't this game have at least one badge? Give an easy for defeating the first opponent or coliseum, a medium for defeating 5 coliseums or whatever, and a hard for...beating the game? Just a suggestion. Other than that, 5/5
I only request one thing: for the Mighty Waizer, could we please have a guide to show what the "perfect" skillset would be and for each class? I use Expert all the time, so that I can use my own idea for stats. Other than that, still one of the best games I have ever played.
This game SO deserves at least one badge. It's been as fun playing it now as it was when the game first came out. Please badge it; if not, it still is a fantastic game with decent balance and enemy difficulty-level ramping.
The Sonny series had been and always will be one of my favorite of all time. The first one let the player customize at will using a given skillset that applied to all, with decent enemy-difficulty increase and a final boss that was hard enough to get. With the second game, everything changed for the better. More advanced and specialized skillsets, coupled with training battles that let the player actually level up well and badges that were decent to get. I could go on more and more, but I believe you got the point. Fantastic game, get well soon Krin, and may you have a wonderful time with 3 (IF it ever gets out ;) )
How did we NOT expect that twist ending? Not even M. Night Shyamalan could have predicted that. Great game overall, even if it is a bit CPU-intensive like a lot of games on here. The balance was great, the many upgrades and weapons gave it variety. Good job, Armor Games and Jim; one of the better games on here even if there should be another badge for making a LOT of money of upgrading and maxing everything...future idea, perhaps?
As much as I did not enjoy the fact that the fireballs would autofire instead of selectively firing like in the first game and the numerous enemies which would stack way too quickly in difficulty and bonuses, the overall balance of the game is decent enough to give it a 4 out of 5 stars from me. Good job, nerdook; another great game to add to your extensive library.
