walkthrough is here.
Despite skipping every dialogue using Page Down it still took me 30 minutes. Insane. Save yourself some time and some sanity.
Thanks for the feedback :) The interface was definitely the trickiest part, trying to balance info for the player and clarity. I think a full version with just higher res and more estate could be a good start.
This game has a lot of bad design decisions made. My biggest complaint is how puzzle pieces are sorted. It's totally random, it's like you try to use your friend PC without him and all the icons are in random order, so before you actually get to do what you want you spend extra time finding thing you actually want to click/push/launch whatever. I think i would rate it 1/5, but level X is actually a pretty solid idea,so i'll just leave it unrated. If level X was one of the first levels i think i would try to solve it myself, but nah. I made it only to level 15. Thanks Darches for walkthrough!
Music is extremely good. Did you make it yourself?
About the game, while i had fun at first, last 3 levels were not really exciting. For me, the problem for me was that when the game introduced new mechanics, it felt more like natural progress than a twist. That's why level 18 is painful - you see these creatures and you think: oh, i must get them on buttons, but now it's harder, let's go. It was so unexpected to get stuff off the buttons i didn't notice it myself, when i got tired and checked comments and found that i'm supposed to not press buttons, but make them unpressed, i was so disappointed, that it pretty much ruined all experiece for me.
I really dont like visual style of this game. It's cute, but is quite messy. A lot of stuff looks similar to each over, and even selecting a clue doesn't help much as it just adds more colors to overall scheme. My proposal solution would be to make stuff not mentioned in the clue black/white, so it's easier to notice withour eye pain.
Hi there,
I would really appreciate if you could get in touch me with regarding what you felt was missing, or needed for the same 'vibe' as the other games for a better understanding from your perspective, if you have a few minutes? -Ray
Althrough I don't really like this game (not a big TD fan), I see how much things developer implemented for no specific reason but game quality, and that makes this game one of the best games on Kong.
I thought your first game was long to get badges, so I wasn't big fan of that. Then Papa's games come out. Nowadays I'm happy to see a familiar face in the endless chain of MMOs and idles. I hope Greg badges your game, 5/5.
are mmos really that generic these days? All these terrible tutorial quests, all these smily faces without emotions. Im not even gonna complain about the gameplay, because this game is completey soulless.
