This could do well with the application of Kong API. I'd love it more if this had a chance to get badges, or a chance to publish scores, etc. This game has potential for greater things, if you just get that Kong API implemented. 5/5 :)
Here is a great set of tips for clearing the dungeons to reach the Hard Badge: The best way I can imagine to keep track of your dungeon, only fight the creatures in a dungeon until you've leveled up. Once you level up, head for the next hole. This way, you know what dungeon you're on, based on your level. Level 1-2 is Dungeon 1, Level 2-3 is Dungeon 2, etc. I advise you fight the creatures in the room with the next dungeon hole early. Always find a way to take on a room one creature at a time. I've died countless times from being swarmed, and unable to run. Focus a LOT of your EXP Points into Will, and a tiny bit in Strength/Stamina (you can alternate between leveling-ups). Make sure you equip an item with Heal, so you can heal yourself when you're fighting/retreating. This makes ALL the difference. Other than that, just have a good time in sneaking around and fighting. Don't hate the game, hate the badge :P 5/5 game
Apparently there's a way to jump DIAGONALLY?! It might be a bug, but pressing Up and Right/Left at the same time turns into a diagonal jump. If it's not a bug, hope it helps! Great game, reminds me of Reckless Driving, but less Reckless c: 5/5
I was so delighted that I managed to get close enough to the Hard Badge for me to be able to purchase all 15 dungeons, and lay them out correctly. I was at a loss, as my last adventurer, a Paladin, stumbled his Level 13 armored butt into Dungeon 15. With a health-per-tile item equipped, he actually managed to knock down the dragon bit-by-bit from 6500. Alas, he landed the Blue Portal with <50% HP… and the dragon had 536 HP left to go. I have mixed feelings for that Blue Portal near the dragon. 5/5 game, heartbreak that I now have beaten this game in 26, not 25, days.
With each level having a random direction generator for each guard, it makes every level a little bit different, and possible, depending on your luck. As much as random generator's suck, and the reliance on luck, it makes the game a heck of a lot more interesting, don't you agree? Pixel perfect games are annoying, this game has it different every time, so it's not as annoying you see. I give it a 5/5 for originality, challenge, and fun :)
Although it's claimed to be impossible to perfect just about everything, it doesn't negate the fact that it's still fun to just be the Ultimate Ninja ^^
I think the lack of friction actually makes it more challenging and interesting. Why does every "Physics" game have to be exact? Just imagine the dirt is actually… ice.
There needs to be some kind of button we can press next to a penguin that lets them change targets, if another is available. This would solve the stupid penguin avoiding a large clump of turtles for one in the corner, with an obstacle in their way.
I think it's important that EVERYONE KNOWS: once you face the Razor Queen once, if you fail, there's a button in the middle that says "Rematch." You can keep playing the Queen over and over and over and over and over … until you win! You start the next over again with her at the very beginning, no other glooples. Then when you win, you continue the nest. This actually makes it possible to play two queens in one nest, too. This game is incredible, the challenge, the humor of the awards, the great gameplay. More games should be as enjoyable as this one. 5/5 :) (+ so everyone knows about the Razor Queen thing! That way they don't restart the whole nest over if they die)
Took me a while to realize I had to match the colors to make the pixel painting, lol. I thought the game was stuck in a sandbox mode. 5/5, nice way of game design :)
It sucks being a Ghost Sniper in Invincible Mode, lol. The secondary weapon becomes null :( 5/5 game though, much has been improved from Bubble Tanks 1
I thought I'd give advice now that I've earned the badge. Stack your cakes as close to the of the screen as possible. You can earn loads of points from Bonuses, such as Edge Bonus (place cake precariously on an edge of the cake below it), Accuracy Bonus (place single square cake or muffin on a single square cake or muffin) and Danger Bonus (place cake as close as possible to the bomb without activating it). The more you do without missing a cake, or activating a bomb, the higher the Bonus Multiplier goes, and the more points you can earn. Also, if it's TOO close to a bomb, don't bother. It's better to save your multiplier for another day than to have a combo broken. This game is delightfully cunning, simple, and has the characteristic of multi-fun. Excellent, or should I say… "exquisite!" 5/5 bon appetit
