Not bad. I like the luck-pushing mechanic during the daytime. Does EXP do anything once you hit the max level? Once I hit level 3 I was only able to fit in one job a night, keeping my heat relatively low until Batman showed up out of nowhere and destroyed me.
Made it to the gun level before losing all my lives. Loved the art and atmosphere (especially when I realized what was holding up the flowers and how that fit into the quarantine plot), but the early bits are way too slow for me to want to replay to get to where I was. (I get it, hostile world, life is fragile, but such harsh game over penalties killed my desire to keep going.) You might also want to change up the red/green lights to something more colorblind-friendly.
Neat idea. Interesting dynamics, how it's tougher to get the higher apples, since it's more likely that you'd bounce the ball higher on the way, giving you less time to catch it. Bug: it's possible to tap two movement keys quick enough to double back on yourself. e.g. if you're going right, sometimes if you tap up then left you instantly die.
Not bad at all! Love the art, decent level design.
Nitpicks: I sometimes slide off moving platforms, especially if I land on an edge. Some of the moving platforms are so desynced as to cause long waits until I have a chance to move on. The lives system seems almost meaningless, only serves to waste time. (Not sure if later levels are meant to have checkpoints.) It's not hard to remember which way I'm facing, but a more asymmetrical sushi would be appreciated if you use that mechanic more.
Not bad! Good variety of mechanics. The sword fighting was a difficulty spike; took a while for me to figure out that the second bar was a strength meter that replenished while still.
Thank you so much for that! The bug should be fixed now!
