Interesting concept and for the most part, it is well made, windows buttons and all. The main issue for me is that in terms of an idle game, man does this progress slowly. It takes extensive time and I am still not really making any choices of any sort of consequence. Very very little variety at the start which is making me put this down.
I would say this game is a 5/5 but... well I love the content. It has got a lot of character options, like I just won with an enchanter who was a melee specialist. After confusion and stuff like that, I got good plate armor, had charge, put all my points into melee, str and health, like that is really cool. The find a book, multiclassing and then having utility skills. The issues I found though were the UI. There was some crashing and a extra dungeon (thank goodness) that the further I went just the more it would free and crash. There is no clear where to put certain items in the skill bars and stuff. A lot of the buffs do not have any details to them and what they do. Clicking as a ranged person sometimes I end up moving closer to enemies (when I don't want to) by accident. Essentially, great concept, needs some more content and needs some more polish. Also it would be nice if there was a rogue-like assisting element, like a carry over one item kind of thing.
All in all, four stars and a pretty good game. I think this game has a lot of things going for it, it is an interesting design, an innovative and different take on exploration/combat, but in the end this also detracts a bit from things. Later on you get control with totems (essentially the rogue like new game+ bonus) and you can ensure you get whatever you want every single time. Then you can grind perm stat buff scrolls and well, the pacing of the game becomes super slow and everything feels less rewarding. Not saying this is bad by any means, it is definitely worth a play through, maybe not until the end, and like I said, the concept is cool. In the end though the game gets bogged down by the slowness and the style. Good work dev.
At first I was hesitant to play this because it just looks like a factorio clone, I mean as much as you can make a web browser version, but after playing it I must say it is different enough and fun. It was a pleasant surprise. 4 stars out of 5 though, the game is extremely slow, I mean like grindy. Other than that, very enjoyable.
I know I have commented before and I still Natalie is a bit broken when it comes to DPS but I wanted to give props to this game. The devs are constantly commenting and involved and that is really cool. I am almost more interested in the game just because they are so responsive.
It's awesome that Natalie is still working as DPS for you. The main DPS for players can vary depending on gear, event Crusaders, Idols, and formation. We try our best to listen to the community. :)
The one issue I have with this game is that really, at some point all you do is have Natalie dragon do all the damage. She scales in some weird way that later on with all the bonuses you have a hard time not having your whole offense based on her. Otherwise a cool game. I like grinds myself.
Thank you for the feedback. Glad you're enjoying Crusaders! Very neat to hear you're using Natalie as your main DPS. Most players use Hermit, Emo Werewolf or Sarah, but it all depends on who has the gear and Enchantment Points.
So I have a question. I just got to where I could redo low level quests with different parameters and some are like battle using only wizards etc. I removed people from my party and hired wizards. Now where do I get my previous party members back from? Thanks for the help.
Secret to a number of the special stages. Can you run in a circle? If yes then you win. This game is limited. Not bad, but limited. I love the art but because it is grindy and not that amazing I have to give it 4/5.
Also, just a simple improvement/tweak. Starry coupons are rare as shit and needed for world trade. Why the hell are they needed to refill bins too? That is pretty ridiculous. It would make much more sense to make the mystical hourglass mystically make your resources full faster (aka it is actually effecting the time).
You know, "nonsense" just doesn't ring out like "objection" does, but this is still a wonderful game. I like the references to the Phoenix Wright games tucked in here as well. I was actually skeptical at first but it turned around at the end and was really satisfying. I give it a 5/5. Also happy that my main man Kant represented. That is the moral philosopher I identify the most with :)
I love this game and the original as well. So let me start off by saying that I give this a 5/5 and I will keep playing it for a long time. The one big issue though is the world trade not being free. You can still make money for those that want to get ahead quickly. This is evident from every other game like this, Yu-Gi-Oh BAM, Tyrant, Game Of Thrones Acension, whatever, you name it and if there is payment to get a head start, people will pay for that. Even then, all of those games offer a chance for the player to get better, progress in the game and have fun by putting in more time than money. For some of us that don't mind slow grinding, the world trade 'ban' is killer. I bet you have lost more players that might have paid money later down the road from that than anything else. It sucks getting stuck on a quest early. Thanks for hearing me out.
Seriously. I like this game. It is really cool and I have the patience to wait till the next day to play, BUT it is horribly glitchy and the servers are jam packed. I have been soley trying to load this game on my browser for 2 hours and 44 minutes now... I would even consider putting money into this game, but with how unreliable it is, it is not going to get a penny from me.
