Really nice game. Difficult but far from impossible, and the levels are short enough to quickly learn from trial and error to correct your mistakes and advance.
Overdue comment. Absolutely love the game. Love it. LOVE IT. The dialogue is witty and fun, the item descriptions are even funnier, and I greatly enjoyed the new party members and getting to know them with the "p" button function. The most important part of a game is the story imo, and the story in Mardek 3 is amazing. Love how the dreamstones let you get an inside look at what everyone was thinking, especially the one you get from Qualna. Real heart jerking moment there. Totally psyched for eventual release of Mardek 4.
Ugh! Fun game, but the motorcycle mission is ridiculous. If you don't get it on the first or second try then you're out of ammo and have to start all over if you want to beat it. Well screw that. Just skip to the 3rd game I guess.
A thoroughly enjoyable fighting game with easy controls and fun item / weapon things. Customizing a character was also a nice touch. I really liked it. 5/5
Damn man, that's deep. Depressing, sad, whatever you want to call it, it touched me inside. Music's great and the story is too. Rarely do games invoke these sorts of emotions in me. Poor guy, though the psychological report is really interesting.
Noice, I enjoyed that. The silly animations, silly dialogue sequences, and short rounds made it much more fun in my opinion. I'm a sucker for anything that has anything resembling a plot and makes me laugh.
Geez, I needed every one of those infinite lives. :P
The game is as challenging as ever and I'm still not all that fluent with the controls. It's not that they're difficult to pick up, I just have a tendency to panic and get a little twitchy. It's got that good humor I've come to expect from you and now I'm very interested in what sort of object Arkus is collecting pieces to.
And oh no, this game isn't like other games I've played before! The controls aren't exactly the same as every other game I've played and now I don't know what to do, so I'll just complain! Plus it's not like I can change the controls to my liking or anything. tsk, please.
Finally found the 3rd and 4th relics. Now all that's left is to get them all on Expert without dying too much and in under 10 minutes... Know what, I think I'll just try to beat Intermediate in under 20 for starters. :P
Ha! I finished with a grand total of +3 points and an E ranking. I'm not complaining though, that was fun to beat. Now I really know what you meant when you were talking about the feeling of satisfaction when you beat something that's foiled your every attempt numerous times. Feels great! 5/5
I'm embarrassed to say that I still haven't beaten the boss yet, but it's been a fun game nonetheless. And I feel like a major idiot, but I finally realized a good strategy to use when the Wraith goes off the beginning pattern and fires directly at you. It seems painfully obvious in retrospect, yet it took me at least 20 losses to finally see it. :(
Awesome, even though I didn't recognize the story until halfway through. I love mythology and I was honestly surprised to find a game that borrows one of the better stories. Plus the ending threw me for a loop, so that made it even better. Plus it didn't take forever! 5/5
Really interesting game. I liked it. It sort of made me feel like I was reading a story. Almost kind of philosophical. Plus the multiple endings had a nice effect. 5/5
The better question would be why does this game lag for you guys but not for me? I'd say it has more to do with your computers than the actual game, because my computer isn't all that great (5 years old) and this game works fine for me. So don't lower the rating when the lag is probably being caused by you (indirectly) and not the game.
Pretty fun. I enjoyed all the levels; some were difficult, but none were insanely impossible. I give it a 5/5 and hope that there's a 3rd one someday in the future.
