So I found the trick here. Multiplayer, local multiplayer, then use a controller to start second slot. Allows you to get another player in and then you just have the beat the AI. Set fight to 1 kill and no helicopters.
Well I've played this since February 14th and now the game is definitely frozen. Like it'll progress but it has an inability to remember past a certain point.
So the badge of the day is to lose 10 times. The AI refuses to take over checkpoints. This is miserable and intentionally losing is really difficult. I shove their tanks into the circles to take the points. The AI wasn't built to win, just kill.
This game reminds me, I really do like these games. I like the small mysteries and the characters. I wish more of these games were shorter though. I can justify 40 minutes or so on a game, but multiple hours or so starts to be a bit much. I appreciate all the effort the developer is making as a storyteller. It's cool to see how much progress they've made since here mechanically as well.
Level 15 was a bear with precision teleporting being hard. I'd recommend something like a visual range of how far you can teleport if you want to teleport past enemies. That or a bit more range. I feel I lucked out rather than got better at the end.
This is a fine game, and more importantly it works. Just I'd prefer if badge of the day games to take less than 4 hours. At least make it an impossible.
