jeez i hate how your NPCs blow. I'll see them aim their reticule on a target half way down the field, and it'll reach the sand bags and start bashing away before they will even fire....
how come out of 4 gun classes, the only ones i ever get in the shop that are on or above lvl are all small guns...the one type none of my team or i use...
Has anyone actually done well with a militia/ranger character using big guns? i've tried both classes with big guns as main weps, and haven't gotten past day 25-35 on either without multiple multiple tries....
lol @ Hurley. If you can't get past 12 on any character with any strategy, then you either haven't tried hard enough, or you just plain suck and can't hit anything
my huntard and his +10 penetrations bow is useless against homo barbarians. half the time is just goes right thru them with no damage tick, and it's annoying...
lol my ranger teammate lvls like crap with his gravity gun. Only problem is he is big guns 45 but is using a g-gun 28, which was originally g-gun 21 trhat i've kept upgrading. Need better drops...
@ gnaw lol i have my hunter with a bowgun mk-11 w/ 4 slots (Leech lvl. 3, Leech lvl. 2, Dmg lvl. 3, Dmg lvl. 2) and maxed engineer (52% bonus effect) and maxed bow mastery (+10 penetrations)... PLUS 110% party buff (3 AP) every round....i rape everything. Except i have one party member with maxed reloading and a gravity gun with 2 dmg mods, he can fire off shots fast. my other two mates are both snipers and do like crit hits on 10 targets before i can even get two shots off lol
Lol for those of you saying you're stuck...
*hire henchmen for the level, it almost always works
*save money to recruit more ppl
*score crazy head shots and crits (obviously if you have skill :P)
*carry a few repair hammers
*carry a few grenades for a fast take down of tanks/bosses/giant-bow-guns-on-wheels :P
*upgrade bow mastery to at least +5 penetrations, you can take down whole mobs with one shot if you have a high dmg bow gun
*no matter what class i play, i use rifles if possible, if not then machine pistols (shotguns for sheriffs) so for recruits best combo for me is another rifle or small gun person (i.e. noble) a big gun person (ranger/noble) and a shotgun/another big gun
lol, i had reached wave 26 on noble and had thought i was rape. then I made a hunter and decked out my teammates and i've gotten to wave 42 so far w/ a perfect game 1/3 rounds
