Galaxy management tab is broken.
Anytime i click on any of the Arctechs, I get a little 4 panel "help" display. It cannot be closed or gotten rid of. Clicking everywhere, space, esc, enter, etc. Nothing can clear it. tab is unuseable.

Just wanted to say thanks for the game and for being so responsive and active with the players. It's been a great distraction while I'm working from home during the lock-down.
Bug 1: Trapping on whether an item can be upgraded is flawed and sometimes you cannot purchase even if you have enough neutrons.
Bug 2: When prestiging, sometimes it does not perform a reset.
Bug 3: The cost of Upgrades is out of balance with the costs of Items. No upgrade has any worthwhile value when you can buy the next item for less. This may change for upgrades for the final item if it's even worth going that far.
Bug 3) The game doe snot fit on a standard screen, usually Kong has some standards for that.
Issue 1) lack of information on the /sec values of items makes it more awkward to understand value optimization.
Issue 2) Simply buying 2 of each item and waiting for the next one to become available is the most efficient path in most cases. So there's no need to buy more.
I have read and agree with the posts that the rates at which pets acquire skills is inconsistent. I've had pets get 3 skills by level 20 or exceed lvl 70 without any skills at all. I believe the issue lies in that pets have a finite number of level-up events upon which to tie the chance to learn a skill.
What you might instead consider is to tie the pet skill acquisition chance to fights where the pet survives. Just make it a relatively low percentage and only count fights where the fight is relatively the right level for the player. Factor in the average number of fights a player completes per hour at their skill level, and set the chance factor to match up to about the frequency you desire it to happen at.
Result: pets continue to acquire skills up to their maximum even if they have hit level cap, and players have a reason to use keep using a pet instead of trying again for level 1 pet drops to hope they get one with pre-assigned skills that they like.
There are lots of folks having trouble with their games becoming lost, unloadable or unable to start over. This includes players from before and after the big update. What is really mystifying me is why anyone pointing out that their game is broken and cannot load is getting down-voted? Why on earth would anyone be against getting this problem fixed? If you feel it's not a "real issue" because it has not happened to you yet, just wait, it'll happen and then you'll be upset like the rest of us.
Funny stuff.
Now that the game corrupted my save, I notice that anyone posting about game saves being corrupted is getting marked down so they will not appear in the comments.
Game save losses are a serious issue and everyone here should be treating this as the most important issue.
OK, now I'm furious!
I had a character that was well decked out. i could go from 0 to almost 40 at age 10 after a reset. I was felling really good and strong. Then the developer (who i admit is very create and hard working) shows his lack of experience and professionalism and changes how save games are done and does not test it adequately before rolling it out live. So now my save game is gone, including pets and new stuff from after the update. I've seen others posting similar experiences.
HARD WORK AND WILLINGNESS TO ADD IDEAS FROM THE COMMUNITY DO NOT MAKE UP FOR SHODDY CODE AND POOR TESTING!.
The game's rating just changes from a 5(new, fresh, interesting) to a 1 (errors, lost time, frustrating)
Magnus223,
I received grey pets even while I had all but orange and purple loot disabled. So I don't think that's it.
Up until I lost everything where the game will not load my save I'd collected only grey pets.
YOWZA!!! Closed my browser and came back a few minutes later and my automatic save game will not load, and I cannot create new games.
Essentially I just got wiped out!
Just getting the ball rolling:
PET LOCATIONS: ----
RED BEAR - FILIA - first island, last spot
SKELETAL WARRIOR - THE GULLET - second island, last spot
(here's wishing we had some formatting on these posts)
The skeleton warrior has a power "Advanced meditation Recover 0.3*level Mp of the player and self per turn".
In the battle stats window, this is being stated as "Your pet recovers 6Hp of You and himself"
The message should refer to Mp not Hp.
About pets:
My own experience thus far, so only a limited view of the data:
How to acquire:
You must kill the "Region Boss" and hope you get one, there's only a percentage chance of it being given each time you kill one.
Where:
I have only acquired pets by fighting the last (highest) spot on each island. The other spots on islands have given me no pets. Not to say that they cannot, but they have not for me. If others are having a different experience please let us know.
How effective are they:
To me so far, not very. The first i got, the Red Bear has a taunt skill to draw attacks on you to the bear. Unfortunately this means the bear dies on the first hit of every combat. Since pets must survive a fight to get exp (it seems) my pets always lag behind me in levels, becoming less and less effective over time.
I can only suppose that the developer wanted to add the pets and not have them imbalance the game by making them very weak (hitting for such small damage as to be nearly irrelevant: it is hitting for 1 point while I'm hitting for 2k) so that he can then increase them after observing behavior in use. This is a "safe" method of making changes although hard to appreciate as players without any notice.
Thank you for playing! While there is still lot of work to do, I'm glad it is providing some fun.
