Your event system is poop. You have to wait so long that it is unfeasible to get better items than what you find except maybe the first 1-2 times if you wait until like lv 50. +7% cast rate vs +12%? +8% skill attack damage or +15%? I dunno, the event is pointless. Why not make a boss that scales to your power, dependent upon your average dps that'll take approx 45s-1m to kill but it gives you good rewards, an item or a buuuunch of gold or something. This game is very fun, but that aspect of it is very disappointing.
