Thanks, I appreciate your reply as well. Although I don’t know how my three votes got to the top, I like giving realistic ideas that could make games better. I have some other suggestions as well.

- First of all, the hammer seems a little weak. I don’t know if you meant to make the hammer more challenging, but not being able to jump attack with it makes it a pain to use, especially when attacking jumpers. The attack speed could use a small boost as well.(I might just be overestimating it though)

- I don’t know how much you are against checkpoints(or how anti-mainstream you are I guess), but it would be nice to not have to go through the entire game because you didn’t know how to defeat the bosses. Being able to come back at you last shop might not be a bad idea. I’m not sure how many people down rated your game because of this on kongregate but I bet it’s quite a lot. Blasted lava. D:

-As for hit detection, It’s not god-awful, it just not as forgiving as other games especially for imps. The most effective way to kill them is jump about the time they jump and then attack midair. If done properly, it’ll hit them without hurting you. It might make a nice tip to add that. (It works really good with shields as you can hit two at the same time doing this if they are close enough)

Also, how are you supposed to defeat the first boss other than a gun? I know you are supposed to attack the boss from behind, but it’s sorta difficult to do that when the boss turns around! Also, you can’t jump over the boss because if you touch him he hurts you. This makes it painful to fight him with the shield as well.

It’s kind of unfair if you literally have pick a specific weapon to beat a boss, because it’s like saying, yea, you can use that weapon, but if you want to beat boss 1, you have to play through the game with gun 1 or 2 until you get to shop 3.
