I couldn't figure out why I kept plodding through the game: the plot was uninspired, the battles were repetitive, the dialog dragged. It honestly took me until the end of the game when ***spoiler*** you're asked to make a wish on behalf of someone in the crew... and I actually had to pause and think about who I wanted to help.
Bravo, sir, you actually made me give a damn about these characters :)
Perhaps making the rotating/skewing camera a part of the gameplay would improve things a bit (getting damaged skews the camera, getting a powerup brings it back, etc.)
Awesome concept, but the game isn't balanced in any way. Fix the bugs, balance incomes vs. fixed growth rate vs. enemy waves, and perhaps you'll have something really good.
Stunningly simple in its execution. The only thing that could make this game more complete is a full soundtrack: I love the song, but I can only listen to it so many times while trying to get that last badge :P
