First of all: Why the heck a wix site encapsulating it? Second, this seems like a platformer type thing more than adventure game.
As far as polish goes, personally it feels like the jumps are too quick for the height they are getting. Starting to run in the opposite direction feels sluggish when you are standing still, and the character moonwalks for a bit; works well when you're already running and want to change direction though.
