Concerning your Question on Mud and Blood 2 : No, the officers only help to Avoid Germans sometimes.

The point system works this way: for the first 10 waves of enemies you got 2 TP per waves, subsequent ones you got one point per waves.

You can also gain 1 Point by moving to the next area
