I'm not sure if this is something that only affects me/is actually a feature now:
Science in my game is no longer consumed when buying/refining advancements.
So far I am enjoying this game a lot, especially with the new fast infinity without the countdowns. The one thing that I am suggesting would be some form of mixer option for gold items, because as of now many just end up as inventory weight after a while, and just selling them seems incredibly suboptimal.
This is a lot of fun. Though ultimately the amount of upgrades is too small. It basically takes only a day or so of idling and you'll have most of the achievements.
I haven't reset yet. This I feel is a game that would work really well with upgrades and higher tiers of building that appear with every reset that has a total money higher than an ambiguous number of total money earned.
Died on level 26 with all upgrades.
Only problem points are at the very beginning (aiming slow shots) and when the thick border ones show up for the first time. otherwise, simple but fun game.
