What is so obnoxious is that this game has potential to be fantastic - but when you get to the final floor and before you have even moved, this is what you are looking at (https://imgur.com/a/KFoHBIl) ...it just feels broken.
Oh my god - in their 'Gifts for ratings' list, they put 3 stars as 'THIS IS UNPLAYABLE'
What does that make 1-star? 'It made my computer explode'?
I gave it 1 Star... why? Because it isn't a game. It is a game simulator. I'm sure the two people playing that card game are having a blast. I, on the other hand, am watching them and wondering who the hell thought this was a good idea.
Ah, another game that nobody in their right flippin mind rated 5 stars that sits at 4 somehow, autoplays itself until I have my 15 points and then I can never look at it or think about it again.
Final stage - all advancements purchased - waiting to complete all tasks - has taken just around two days so far. After a nice sale of dragonglass, purchasing the rest was super easy.
Would be nice if there was something in this section other than just waiting to max out.
I mean, sure, it has an energy system which makes the game garbage - but at least it has an 'autoplay' feature, so it is garbage that will play itself with minimal interaction.
So - I finally did it - as a lover of Nethack, Angband, and a thousand other variations - let me tell you that this was a fun fun rogue-lite.
My final win - Warrior - pumped up Melee/Fort to 8, between raising Long Sword to +5 and using a +3 Spear. Got a Fire Mage book (more on that in a moment) and then shortly thereafter a Storm Mage book. Bumped my resistance to both, and used a Storm Staff as my ranged. Without pumping fire resistance, there is no way I would have gotten as far as I did. Hail Trog.
One note - the two times I've seen the endgame (my last close run was level 14) - unless there are random end-games (similar to the Mech/Magic/Cave mid-game) - the game is super geared to a fire build. Again, unless there are other Magic end-sets.. it seems a bit biased
That aside - thanks for a super great game, one of my favorite achievements I've ever gotten.
Oohhh, even better - Garbage with an 'AUTOPLAY' feature.. so barely a game I have to look at. I like garbage games that play themselves. It's like free badges. 1/5
Look at all the high level folks complaining. It's almost like we are regular users of your site. People who pay for games we like. Donate when we can. Give a little bit here and there. And yet here we all are, complaining about games like this every single time.
There is no way in hell this game was vetted with any reasonable amount of time. Server loads, boot errors, memory leaks... it's a garbage fire. Is the amount paid to get this game high ranked (3.9? Unlikely) worth the unending complaints about it?
Or is it since those are the words of your users and not the money of shady developers - that they don't mean much?
I could go and play a high-res roleplaying game like Skyrim, where I can see the dragon's chest heave as it breathes.. or I could try and play a game that has an FPS rate of 4 and only has hard badges, because the action is impossible to discern through the unending lag.
I didn't know skyrim ran in flash
