This was actually a pretty fun game Good wok! Only problem that I had was once I had all the upgrades was nothing else for me to do with the game. Definitely agree with others that maybe a "prestige" system, or something similar, would be a welcome addition. Basically give players something to do to continue playing after they've gotten all of the upgrades. :)
Also noticed that when the dragons den bug is happening that the Watch Tower counter doesn't decrease for the time until an attack., unless you swap to another tab within the game UI (e.g. village, valley, dungeon, etc.) Mine was stuck on 60 seconds for 4-5 minutes, until I switched to another tab within the game, and the timer went to 0, then switched game tabs again and the attack finally occurred.
Contains a game breaking bug. Just upgraded last assigned dragon to Tier 3, and the game reported that the dragons den was full (it's nowhere close to being full)...and lost the ability to open the den.
I as able to reload the page and then opens the dragons den a few times, but only assign two dragons to the buff spots. Then suddenly after a few more minutes I couldn't click on the dragons den yet again. Pretty major issue.
Decent concept but some aspects are poorly executed. As 95% of the people already stated, the speed is agonizingly slow, the color wheel should have blue and purple swapped for it to make sense, and it makes no sense that you cannot hit monsters in the back row, yet for some unexplained reason they can hit you. Abilities should be explained other than within the tool tip on the battle field, and there's no explanation on how to actually use abilities, you have to poke around until you figure it out on your own. The upgrade system is nicely done, and the weapons and item shop are good, so those are two high points. All in all it's about a 3/5.
Speed is broken/inaccurate; for example in my case the tool tip for the Game Shop states it produces every 14.15 seconds, but it actually takes 43.3 seconds. Producer tool tip says it generates every 10.638 seconds, but it actually takes 33.46 seconds. So the times are way off.
Seriously, I don't know what it is with developers uploading incomplete, alpha-stage, games these days. 1/5. Upload when you have created a game, not 1/4 of one.
Very buggy. I have people "leaving" that never joined by group to begin with. The game is a lot like the 'Rebuild' series and has a lot of potential; but needs to have the bugs taken care of, and more information such as what is lowering morale, and what is or can increase it. Something such as a 'budget' screen would help with that, showing what resources are coming in, and what resources are lowering and the sources of those events. Start with a few things like that and the game could really turn into something great.
The Feed Us games have always been somewhat fun in their theme and their upgrade system. It's such a shame that they have always (and continue to be) plagued by such horrible and unresponsive controls.
Has potential, but as it is right now there's too much clicking around involved. There should be some way to hire managers to assign workers to tasks, allowing the player to focus on the strategy of things instead of micromanaging every single service call to every room. It was fun for a little while but quickly lost interest due to the tedious nature of the action. I also agree with the others that the whole rat thing has got to go, it is excessively tedious and downright annoying.
The game is inherently flawed. The population count of islands jumps waaay up as soon as it is captured. So, on level 3 for example, you can send troops to the neutral island to start the level, and weaken the island, and then the enemy can send a ship there and take it over (and the population jumps up to 50-something). The island should have the population of whatever number of troops were sent to it on the enemy ship.
Excellent game. I really enjoyed it. The little bit of grinding, that there was, was still enjoyable because you always saw steady progress and weren't forced to do it. Would have liked to see more weapons, like others already said..but even without that there was still enough of an upgrade system to give you things to look forward to. Great job.
Overall game is great. Love the upgrade system, and the mix & match dynamic. I didn't mind a little bit of farming to upgrade stats and things either; it was genuinely enjoyable. Unfortunately the final stage really brought down the overall rating of the game for me; as it was long, tedious, and after a few failed attempted with maxed out skills I simply lost interest in trying. I had no more skills to buy (at least for the characters I wanted to use), and as a result there was simply no more reason to try further....but still gave it an overall 4/5, as dropping it to a 3/5 didn't seem fair, with how much I enjoyed the other 90% of the game.
Needs an upgrade system, or other options for there to be some strategy instead of the game just being an excessively drawn out stalemate for most of the level. Look to games like Star Baron or Civilization Wars for ideas on how to stand out in this type of genre.
Not bad, but just seems lacking anything that makes you feel invested in it as a player. Each level is just essentially a repeat of every other level from a player standpoint. Sure the special abilities change, but that's all...it would be much better if you could customize your playing experience through upgrade, or something of that nature. As it is right now, the first part of each level is identical as you repeat all of the building of your 'base' every single time; which gets tedious & monotonous. That being said, it's still fun-ish, but just lacking that special something to keep me interested in the long term. About 3/5.
Having a lot of fun with the game. Couple of things could be improved: Slightly longer on the Specials screen (1-2 seconds), having issues with clicks not registering. There must be something wrong with boss fights behind the scenes...as others have said, I've been beat by bosses that are 3-5 (or more) levels below my Rawr. It's decent, though, and with a little tweaking could be great. As it is now, it's hovering around that 3/5 or 4/5 range. Not bad.
Thanks so much. More guns would have been great, but for my first time, I didn't want to over do myself
