The pond costs feel very odd and wrong. Whenever you buy a pond, the cost for the next one increases, which makes sense, but then if you upgrade a pond the cost to purchase a new one also increases, as well as the cost of upgrade for every other pond you have (and it's not like the new pond is at the max level or anything, you buy it for expensive at level 1). So basically if you pay for ANYTHING pond-related, the cost of ALL other pond related actions increases. Buy a new pond and now you have to pay more to upgrade every pond you own, upgrade a pond and the next one you buy will be more expensive and every other pond upgrade also.
This feels awful, because now I have to choose between getting a new pond to cover more ground or upgrade my already existing pond, and whatever path I chose makes the other one more expensive, I can't have both
There's pretty much a hard lock past floor 20, I've been grinding for a long time to get past floor 22 and it's not getting any better, no new skill unlocks, every PSI upgrade costs over 200 points, and the most I can get a rebirth is 250 after a few hours, and these upgrades do nothing. This game needs to be rebalanced
Don't worry, I'm aware. A very large update with lots of content and a few balance changes is coming out in just a few hours, if all goes according to plan.
So, no saving? How do you save? I played for like 2 hours, then closed the tab believing there'd be some auto-save feature, but when I came back I had to start from the beginning again.
There is Auto save but we think there is a bug with it. We don't know what it is, so if you could private message us as to what you did before that failed save, it would be very helpful. In the meantime, I can assure you that we are working on ways to circumvent this, but it needs thorough testing before we can roll it out to you.
I wish I could easily set energy at increments of how many ticks are required to fill up (what "cap" does), so if I'm getting 1 level each tick I'd like to easily remove half of the energy I got and get a level every 2 ticks, remove however many are needed to level once every 3 ticks, and so on, down to maybe 10 ticks (which seems to be where the "Anti Fast Bar Flicker" setting sets in if it's enabled)
Cows can be completely useless if you don't pick farm or warehouse. Eventually it gets to a point where you get 50 cows and they just clutter your screen
You can't pause or stop production without downgrading the production unit to zero. The reason is that expedition requirements would be even more imbalanced as they are already, when you conduct multiple expeditions in a row without reset.
What's up with those aliens that jump onto the corner of your ship and deal damage to it until it destroys the piece? Can I literally not do anything about it?
There is an absurd amount of levels to this game. I'm at danger level 80 and I have a ship that is built with all the best parts, level 20 guns all over, level 10 protoshields protecting the entire ship, and I haven't got any upgrades to any parts in like 30 missions, so I've just been accumulating money. It's super boring but I keep playing in hopes of unlocking more stuff (for instance the magnet that the end level ship has)
95% abandoned!
