hey, i’ve noticed you haven’t commented in ages and wouldn’t be surprised if you never see this, but id like to take the chance of you reading this.
your game is amazing, truly a work of art and a fine spectacle of how the limits of flash can be pushed. i’m not going to ask you to finish this, i can understand you have issues beyond your control and seems as though you wish just as much as everyone else that this game be completed, but simply cannot. whether or not you ever release an update or a new game doesn’t matter, you’ve already proven your skill, however i would love to see more of what you can do. remember it isn’t always about graphics and money put in and this and that, i believe you can make anything work. good luck, don’t, however, let your rare skills and heart go to waste.

Hello! This is RockLou, creator of The Awakening. Here’s a small update:

I made this game when I was young and still had time for big projects like this. I simply grew tired of working on the game and it got too big for Flash to handle properly. This is why the game is unfinished. Nowadays I’m busy with other things and I’m sorry to say I probably won’t ever finish it. Browsers are losing support for Flash entirely. Starting over from scratch on mobile or Steam is something I don’t have any desire to do.

Thank you for playing the game and supporting me and my work! I hope The Awakening brought you some joy.

i read what you wrote about the story and man that was amazing who would have know that you and the demon are brothers and caleb well die :( just wanna tell that you can earn alot of money and make millions of people happy by making the game even if you put it on steam and surly alot of peaple will join and work with you just think about it i hope you will do that

Hey there. I reviewed your game back in Summer 2015. I have to say, whenever i hop on Kongregate, even if i have no intention of revisiting The Awakening, I can’t seem to keep it out of my mind.

If you ever even consider picking the game back up again (maybe re-do from scratch as i remember you telling me there were limits with Adobe at the time), give some thought about maybe having a set of people who might be able to assist you. I know very well these sort of projects are tough on one-man teams.
Either way, im eager to see what else you have to offer.

I hope that you can find the time or the ability to properly finish the game, I’ve played it multiple times through doing all the sidequests and becoming an insanely op nuker of sorts just to try and satiate my need to play this game. If you’re working on it now, could you give us some kind of sign or possible glimpse into how far in you are, also if you’re possibly looking into other means of finishing the games to try and work around flashes memory issues. If possible, albeit more difficult you could try and learn unity which is insanely powerful and could do everything you need and more. Just an idea from one of your hundreds of patiently waiting fans. :D Even if you don’t finish it, thanks for giving me something to wastes hours upon hours doing. :)

Your game The Awakening RPG is awsome. I’ve dreamed about this kind of game,where I can decide the moment to attack myself and the chance to dodge without stats which make the player more advantage and joy. And now I find your excellent game. Unfortunately this game hasn’t been completed and might not have been for the inconvenience of flash. Anyway I wish you the best on the game-creating road and I’ll always watch over you and The Awakening RPG.
