Story line and Background: It would definitely polish the game if there was some sort of an intro to the story. A fun idea is the ability to pick your own background and an avatar to represent your fleet and faction.
Again overall its a very nice little game. The ideas are just what i think would make this game feeling more complete and earn it 5*s...
Dont understand why such a low rating for a decent game. It has a nice basics to get into.
Sure it still needs alot of work to be perfected id say, but i enjoyed it. To criticize it, few things id add:
Better inventory menu. -Icons instead of letters, sortable to show only a specific part.
Item variety. -Customizing is what I enjoyed best. Why not allow some sort of a custom item crafting?
Open world. -Giving the player to roam galaxy, picking certain areas to fight in instead of level system would add much to the game. To add, It would be nice to visit and revisit planets, space stations and whathave you in a storyline sense. Possible conquering and defending zones would give some strategic value.
Nice little game! I cant lie its not my thing as it feels too limiting and cant lie it could use further polishing. But I can see that you care about your work enough to try and polish the old version to begin with :)
My suggestions would be, allowing you to switch weapons in the upgrade menu. As for the upgrade menu itself, make it to where you dont have to hold the button down.
*Ideas for major expansion: combine the darkbase 1-2 game play with this one. Allow some free movements and use of different turrets, vehicles etc. while expanding the story. Imagine taking over ships turrets to blast the enemy, or fend the pursuing aliens while driving a terrain vehicle.. :)

Yes it is much too short. I wish the game was unlocked into a free mode and enemies would respawn and drop loot.
This way we have a chance to unlock the game all the way.
Possibility of making it endless upgradable game by any chance? :P
New ships and different classes of ships? :)
Id love that type of a game.
If it was a multiplayer based, id even pay a few bucks for it!

You guys should combine the two games.
Also there seems to be ALOT of things I did not get to do. Such as that room with a dead guard. How do I get in? Or, the key on top of the bookshelf underground? What are the books/scrolls/candlesticks/ink for? or the splinter? (using it in the locked room to push out the key does not work) Or the passage blocked by guarding spiders near the queen?
These things should be clear and implemented. And the items need a description. Or at least an official guide for ones like me that want to see every little bit there is to do...

in later levels, i suggest using blade storm and speedup. Everything is very easy when you have that and high critical. For bosses, simply create a large archangel potion and use all enhancing potions to clear up the room before taking on the main boss.
I finish up any bosses so far and still have enough time to go all the way back before the arch angel spell runs out.
Well koryiaki, did you have upgraded gear to critical hit 3?In early levels it helps. I used blade-thunder mix with specialty of falchion... also had blade proficiency and finality. If anything else fails, go do some farming to lvl up :)
Hmm... I aim my stats for luck... Meaning, heavy critical. Cant remember what it was then but now i have 79% critical without the gear bonuses. The teddy bear wolf boss was not a problem... took me under a minute with low level. Also, luck boosts the drop rate and quality...
As I mentioned earlier, the only archangel potion i was able to create so far is the large version... In order to do so, combine 3 large rejuvenation potions with detox potion (green anti poison one)
There are some patching issues that are being smoothed out, so pvp and some other game play aspects might slightly lag... I hope new players dont turn away just yet if they run across such issues...
Kyled... I was wondering is it possible to make wingmen usefull by letting them copy our turrets also? This will add more interest to enemy aswell if they had turrets... :)
