Great job! As usual you manage to explore so deeply into seemingly simple mechanics in such a short game and make it a joy to play at the same time. Great work, I look forward to your next release.
The devs are responding to every comment asking to elaborate on why the game is p2w, one comment by Fullmetalpanic elaborates and goes into detail about how and why the game it p2w, and there is no response. If the devs do not understand I will put it clearly: This game is largely p2w, and that is a problem. It is disruptive to environment and this has the effect of making free, creative concepts get lost under games purely designed to siphon money. If you need a reason as to why this game is p2w, please consult the previously mentioned comment. I hope the devs put more effort into fixing this problem, and not just cherry picking the comments they like. I do sincerely hope this game can be fixed, and the devs realise that it is possible to create a game that generates profit without merely making those who pay have a drastic advantage, making the game neigh unplayable for the average user.
Please add an endless mode, with ever increasing damage and health of each enemy after floor 16. It would be so much fun to just keep going with a great character and see how far you can get, It would add an additional option to test your skill past beating every character really fast. Please make this addition, it would be so good.
Man, took a load of tries, going with the majority here that level 14 was by far the hardest, but I don't think it was bad design, once you get that perfect timing everything just fits together, and it all moves like a well oiled machine, immensely satisfying. Great fun, thanks for the levels!
@Perigirin: From the sound of it, you might have gone into and finished an optional side dungeon, backtrack until you find a room with 2 ways down and go the other path. Hope that helps, but it could just be a bug with kong's badge system.
Really like the way the box moves slightly when you step on top of it and move in the desired direction, it is usually really frustrating to have to restart when a box is trapped in a corner, and this is a nice way around that. Nice game in general, Great Job!
Found this game a few weeks ago and have been playing it every chance I have, really great fun. The balance of the different gameplay elements is just right, so that sometimes things may seem stupid and impossible, but if you think carefully there is almost always a way out. Outstanding design, especially for something procedurally generated, and a great challenge. A great game to waste time on, thanks!
I'm sure there are plenty of suggestions, but I believe that an update to the environments would be great, as almost all user levels use the basic lab, and I think it would be great to have better and more practical and controllable environments. I think it would be great to be able to move around larger labs easier, as well as the ability to zoom in for more precise and intricate creations. This game is great and I would love to see it improved. Thanks
Hi,
I'm sorry you don't like our strategies, we are a very small team and it's actually one of our (not so many) ways of surviving. Please feel free to join our official forums here http://bit.ly/monsters_forums and leave your thoughts to improve the game.
Kind Regards
Something this game really needs is an auto-fire toggle, it can be really uncomfortable on longer runs near the end, and it is a pain to keep pressing down when using a touchpad.
I love this game, and am revisiting it from when I used to play it, but I just descovered that almost every level is easy with just spamming swordsmen.
