I can udnerstand the hate but I think it's a bit unwarranted. Gameplay is pretty standard fare and graphics wise it's really fun to be playing something this nice in your browser.
Like the Keyboarm/Keyboard guy above me I think it's of note there are still a few glitches to work out about incorrect letters showing up. I was absolutely stumped on begginer with SWIFI so I hit quit to see the answer and it was SWIFT.
I really would not mind this game getting badges. It would be kind of clever and it could be for any number of features in the game, like linking to a certain number of games or adding 5 badges to your "to-do" list. Sure it'd be an easy badge, sure it'd be almost pointless, but it'd be really fun to give the game about badges some badges!
When looking at the medal names I saw totally worth it and thought to myself "that must mean I have to buy every grid space and cover them all with add-ons and max out all the add-ons to level 5!" and so I painstakingly did all of that crap to get no medal. So in the future make a medal for that crap xD
So at this point I've beaten the undead mode twice and my badge is still nowhere to be found D: but with that minor gripe the game is as fun and addicting as I've come to expect from CTC!
I'm usually not one to criticize games for copying others because it's part of the evolution and mutation of flash gaming that makes it so much casual fun for the gamers but I've got to say this takes Burrito Bison and It really doesn't add too much to the formula (The hp bar is the more interesting variant but it essentially does the same thing as the distance until finish counter without troubling the developers to make interesting changes of scenery or even a true finish). What can save a total clone is the art but in this game the art isn't extremely pretty and is in fact jarringly mismatched and almost everything looks out of place. So just because it is without any stunning visual or gameplay elements doesn't always mean it's a bad game but this one just falls flat for me for being so early 90's newgrounds that it's just really really weak.
This game could have been a masterpiece but as many people have stated it's too long, too tedious, and not fun enough. I would recommend a more easy to navigate menu page, a more intuitive map, more achievements and more easily obtained achievements to draw people in. Smoother controls and the occasionally well defined objective.
i understand the desire to make a huge sandbox game-world but clear objectives often help even in sand box games.
The art was good and the concept was interesting but I don't think it deserves to be considered a "Hot New Game" the logic behind most of the puzzles was nonexistant...
I'll be honest I absolutely love these physics ball puzzle games in flash they are fun and casual enough to enjoy as a time killer and a lot of them do get badges and are genuinely fun but they'll never get that kind of popularity and appeal without stunning art direction and unique and fun puzzles a lot of KingDotCom's games almost start to seem like clones of ewach other even though they do bring unique things to the table I think playing up the uniqueness and polishing and cutesying up the art style will make these games a lot more popular and they deserve to be with just a little improvement 4/5
I'm not very far into it I like the concept (obviously) and I'd love for it to get badges but the "NOOOOOOOO" is in fact, as many people have said, aaaannoying as all get out
I agree to a large extent with hlkafhalsksksk-etc criticism and feedback is good for the developer and the community this game isn't making fun of criticism in general only unconstructive criticism that doesn't offer alternatives suggestions or any send-up of the game merits only an instant criticism of some small, insignificant, soemtimes imagined faults in the game. not all criticism is bad. just one line that doesn't help the developer and ends with "and i'm rating you poorly 1/5 lol" is.
I like it, it's a blend of a lot of different elements of a fun flash game you've got ball rolling physics, destruction physics, clicking things til they explode. I'd play it.
