Haha, I check the comments regularly. The balancing for the next update is kinda annoying so I'll probably have a beta test where I can get some feedback relatively soon. I'll post it on the r/incremental_games subreddit when that happens.
Since many people are not sure what kind of mechanics are in the game (or think theres nothing after first prestiege etc):
There are:
- Prestiege
- Expansion generators and upgrades
- Alpha/Beta/Gamma upgrades
- Omega generators and upgrades
- Simulation battles and upgrades
- and finally Electron upgrades
Thats the state of the game as of now (01.03.2021). Be aware that the dev already announced more upgrades and(or mechanics in the future.
I believe I "finished" the game, Bought every Omega upgrades, can nearly instantly resimillate and can really onlyupgrade atoms to get omega points faster to keep up with atom costs :D
I really like the diverse mechanics! Do you plan on adding more over time= (Or did I even miss some?)
Atoms/Electrons is currently the end. I will be making more content tho. I was planing on making the new update next week, but the incremental game jam is next week and I plan on participating in that. So I'll try to make it right after that!
A weird exploit:
If you send a keystroke fast enough (depends on your pc, for me its "m-klick-m" every 8ms) the game speeds up. if you find the right sweetspot, you can run the game at triple speed
Addendum to my previous post concerning perfprmance issues:
The Problem was consistent, even on github -> BUT: Only for Firefox. Since we can now export the save, I tried Chrome and it seems to run just fine so far.
really nice and simple, BUT: offline progress is needed badly, considering the very poor performance this game has when the numbers get bigger.. Testet my old game with x^30000 energy or so, and my pc instantly felt like a rig from the 80s. tested without cookies/chached files etc and the "fresh" game ran like it should. I hope you don´t "actuelly" let our machines calculate those numbers? xD
The expansion autobuyer doesn´t save the value upon reload of the game. After reload it went wild and "expanded" as soon as it was avaiable / basically instant
For a game without a "prestige" mechanic, it has a surprisingly good working progression system. It works well beyond the "end" of the game and as far as I can see, there are no annoying walls to climb (assuming an autoclicker is used). I lost my interest after ~500Sp gems/sec somewhere around lvl 450 or so and would love to see further development on this game. As of now, it´s basically just your usual "watch numbers get bigger" software without real progression. After 2 minutes you have seen everything it has to offer.
Very interesting concept. Although more a "proof of concept" than a game at this time, but by all means: keep working on it and you could see a lot of traffic
"Sharp Legs" : Beside from being useless (for me at least for now) -
The description is really weird.
The Way I understand it, It "should" give a scaling dmg multiplier from 2^1 up until a ridiculous 2^99 (6.3E29) right before the end of the jump.
That would easily outperform my Fury multiplyier (105 fury with 1.57E18 speed)
But instead of seeing a dmg boost by a factor of 10 (obviously the fury multiplier basically stops near 1% velocity), it actually stays the same up until around 20% speed and then drops.
Maybe I´m blind or missed an explanation, but how do I use items in combat? I have loads of bombs from mining in my inventory but have no idea how to put them on a ship. All I can do is throw (them away). Would be nice if someone can explain it to me ;)
