My geomancy suddenly went NaN/90638 when I tried traning it up. Just before that, I donated the snow double for skill upgrade (cold calculation, i think), so maybe it has something to do with that, although my other skills seem to train normally.
Last time game killed my save I said I wouldn't bother, but update 0.88 was such an improvement to both active and idle play that I started again. Game is definitely much more enjoyable now except... v.0.91. killed my save again. It's a nice game and I see you're working hard, so I'll just wait a bit more until updates slow down and game stabilizes. Cheers!
Hi,
We're sorry you had this experience, there was a server connection error last night around midnight(PST). Seems like v0.83 killed my save.
Considering this game can't decide if it wants to be a clicker or an idle, with downtimes too long for active play, yet requiring you to click on everything to progress, I don't think I'll bother again.
Sorry for the lost save. :( There seem to be a few caching issues witht he build that we're still sorting out. Thank you for the feedback though - we're trying to strike a balance between a true idler and a clicker, so knowing that its not quite there is useful.
One thing I don't like is, if the boss catches up to you in his chase phase and clips over you, it can be very difficult to "exit" him and gain some distance, and you can end up losing several shields/hp waiting for him to get into his slow-movement shooting phase. But if you do keep distance, the boss poses very little threat to you. I guess I could've avoided that by going the 2sec freeze way instead of bullet time, but still, the boss could be designed a bit better. At least have him have collision detection.
Logged in today only to find I lost all progress - and had I started playing when this game came out on Kong and had a lot of diamonds from early versions. Not starting again.
Fights are very slow with a very unnecessary gambling element, AND produce a ridiculously small amount of XP compared to what is needed to lvlup. At level 4, I'm still getting 40-60 xp, and I need about 40k xp to lvlup. Amount of gold won is also ridiculously small, I'm making 90-110, when my skill upgrades require 42k+, and mask upgrades take 10k+. To make matters worse, instead of GAINING better equipment through fights, you LOSE equipment as it gets broken. So you gain NO xp, NO money and LOSE shit you have. So why even fight? It doesn't even give you a sense of progress, as levelup doesn't mean anything except for story progress - your abilities improve via skill and mask upgrades bought with gold. Now slap onto that quests that push you farther than you're able to survive, and require you to collect a couple dozen items with a 5% droprate, and you've got THE biggest, pointless-est grindfest ever.
When I attack another planet and win, the "victory" pop-up appears, but I still keep losing my attack value. If I am not quick enough to click "ok" and my attack drains to 0, I get a "defeat" pop-up and the game freezes.
My Mutant Spawn Rate is listed as 14/s, even tho it's definitely higher. At Mutant Death Rate of 33/sec, mutants are still increasing in number at approx. 15/sec.
So, what happened to testing your own games before publishing them? Because I doubt anyone with half a brain would have intentionally design the last boss the way it it.
Checkpoint at 9th lvl would be amazing, but even not having to wait through the "cutscenes" when I have to keep replaying the level over and over would be great.
I matched 4 (magic attack) and got an extra turn, but when my magic attack resolved and killed the opponent, game got stuck. Looks like it can't decide whether to give me victory or an extra turn against a dead opponent...
I find the moving background too distracting and too difficult on my eyes to be able to focus on what is going on in the foreground, i.e. actual obstacles, to point where I'd consider it artificial difficulty. And after about 5 mins of play my eyes were hurting too much to even play the game.
Also, a way to set your player positions would be nice, I traded for a disaster player so I would have money for another uber player, now the "disaster one" is stuck as one of my main attackers and keeps ruining my game, as he's always the one around the ball, always in position to tackle or shoot, but fails at everything.
