The words on the mills are the Six Stages of Samsara, like furrypony said (though I guess manupa should be manushy, similar to an Indonesian word for humans, manusia). In Cube Escape: Birthday, there are another Devanagari / Sanskrit writings that says "Preta" or hungry-ghost.
