Fairly certain this ISN'T how you're supposed to solve level 14....but I got irritated trying to figure it out, and I fired my 4 limbs onto the right platform, climbed down, put them all back on, and jumped against the left one until I dragged it down. Exploit?
It really...really...really pays to start off farming cards that get you Light bulb loops (curiousity, muse, etc.) Don't kill the first few enemies fast, just pass turns and do a lot of quick sketching.
Somehow, I upgraded my units too much. Every month, I lose at least 5k, assuming I do all the quests. Now I'm at -60000 money and -30000 food. If I dismiss my units, I stop bleeding money, but I also can no longer win battles.
Seems I upgraded my uniques too much...
Bit of an AI exploit. As long as the attacking wave has one surviving unit, the AI won't start building a new army. Best is if you can just keep one alive, and just cycle "attack" and "defend" and your army will leave it alive. Easy-peasy.
If anyone cares to, check the Android (and I think iOS?) game "off the leash". The running mechanic to cause the dogs there to run in single file would be very good for this game. You could balance it, by the fact that only your leader would be firing, trading massive firepower for squad preservation.
Incredibly frustrating. 25 survivor base, farms producing tons of food, and my base has crept along the wall until it's just within striking distance of the city hall. Boom. 5 days of death and disaster and my base shrinks to 4 squares, and I've got 8 survivors. Dead.
Thanks for sharing the tips.
