It may just be me, but it looks like rocks deal more damage than throwing knives at some point. Will keep an eye on when the inventory starts suggesting thrown weapons again.
The Ex Upgrades that are supposed to grant special abilities to guards don't seem to be doing anything. Anyone notice if there are any improvements?
I especially don't see guards launching the claimed sonic attack.
Saboteurs are not preemptively stopped by guards, they begin causing damage before guards will finally notice. It would be helpful if there is a hint if a store will be positioned to another store that forms a good combo. Maybe the thumbs up and down symbols when you are about to place the store on a location? The awareness level of the staff is a little wanting, since they ignore whatever is behind them.
Gauge continues to decrease despite what you do. Buttons and switches do not tell you if you are doing the right thing.
Still needs a lot of work to be playable.
Still having trouble with Override despite following the advice posted earlier. I think it is partly due to how fast the Creeper spreads and overbuild issues...
Tips for Suspend:
Don't overbuild, this drains your Energy and slows construction down.
Start with low cost defenses on each of your bases, then build sprayers to put a cushion. Set sprayers to auto-spray.
When sufficiently defended, you can start putting reactors and the Forge. Fight defensively for the time being, building needed weapons (beams, snipers, mortars, cannons) to make some space for more structures.
Most important thing for this stage is patience and pausing a lot to manage each locations.
Would be good to have brief explanations for each structure you have at your disposal. Also some idea of what the creeper units do would be good. Suspend threw me a screwball with the new creeper/digitalis unit that repels/attracts creeper.
It is too easy to get hurt and difficult to deal with enemies. Duration for certain power ups are definitely too short and don't help much when you picked them up after killing the enemies.
The status message bar is not showing messages. Was this intentionally turned off?
Overall I am impressed at how quickly this game improves over time. :D
It may just be me, but it feels like the mining lasers run at a slower cycle when you zoom out, and speed up when you zoom in. This seems to be the case for the basic mining laser at least and I have not had the chance to test it on other mining lasers.
I think there is a bug in the cargo amount. The amount is increasing by -2's whenever I sell items off in the refinery, thereby slowly increasing my cargo capacity.
Any laggy behavior should be fixed with the latest update.
