Fun and all, but it's too hard to earn money postgame, with no bosses left. I'd love to see what I get for a 10,000 upgrade, but it would take a while and there's not much motivation since I've already won.
The only thing I don't really like about this is the bouncers in the first stage. No matter where I hit them they seem to end up sending my ball right to its premature death, regardless of my flipper skillz. What I mean to say is that the bouncers need to be balanced.
The game is much too easy, and there are far too many glitches.
Several have been previously listed, but I don't see the one where your duck can't actually move when you start up the level editor.
Also, everyone votes down any comment that says anything negative about a game, so know that I did enjoy playing through it.
Everyone says "upgrade upgrade upgrade"! It's a great game, and upgrades would only serve to remove the challenge, making it a "grind" game rather than a "strategy" game.
I could point out all the obvious flaws, but that's already been done to death, as evidenced by the top commenters. What I will say is that I was expecting a lot more of the "doodle" part. Aside from the opening sequence, I got none. In fact, clicking the title I expected something akin to Doodle Defender or Paper War, both, in my humble opinion, far better games.
The "I" moves far to slowly for me to read at a comfortable pace. I would like it quite a bit more if I were able to adjust the speed of the game to my own reading speed.
Why is the voice so mean to me? I'm sorry!
Fufufufu. I'm quite interested in the fact that almost everyone thinks the voice is female. I haven't completed the game yet, but I think that says something about us in general.
I was able to dominate pretty much any castle in only a few turns by using magic weapon and attacking with whatever weapons cards were available until I had dragon. After that it's almost always an insta-kill.
