the whole evolution mechanics don't work very well in a fast-paced game like this. theres too much going on theres never any time to look over your units and decide which ones to breed. The controls are also really bad, I should be able to just click on something after Ive selected a unit, not drag. This game probably wouldve worked better as a turn-based game where you would have more time and could be more strategic about your decisions.
fun game, I kinda like the idea of not explaining anything and leaving the discovery of controls and game mechanics to the player. It worked well up until the point where those exploding enemies (?) are introduced, where I got pretty confused. Still pretty enjoyable, 3.5/5
you know how some games, with their sequels, take the game in a completely new direction while others instead just build on what they have, make everything that's there better and generally improve it? This game is definitely the latter. I liked the first rebuild but couldn't get to into it due to various issues, but this game seems to have solved all of those. good job, this game is awesome
great game, and great example of a game teaching you how to play without ever really giving you instructions. I wasn't told that I had to put in a cage, or that the other zombies would kill me, or even that I could jump. The game was just crafted in a way that you immediately understood what you have to do, combined with it's simplistic style (both in gameplay and graphics) makes this one of the games you can play that you can beat in under 5 minutes
great, but you need to add two things: variety and neccesity. Variety because all the levels and enemies are very similar. Neccesity because there's no point in buying most of the units, commando and maybe a chopper are all you need, if you made missions that required certain untis, or more than one unit. For example, a mission with a bunch of enemy units outside a building, which then had civilians being held hostage inside. You could also add more units like snipers, or saboteurs (to blow through walls) or make it so that you could have civilans follow you, and the only way to evacuate them would be to use a chopper.
Basically the game is a great base for something that could be truly awesome.
man. I kinda thought the crystal guy was evil, but the only other option I could see was to kill the ten guys which I thought was worse. I only found out after their's another way :(
dude, I saved a soldiers life. I saw a zombie sneaking up behind him and I'm all like "IMA SAVE YOU" barely missed the soldier and killed the zombie. I'm a badass
Awesome art and music, ending blows though. You go through all that trouble to show the museum shifting, then instead of explaining or fixing anything it's just like, kthxbai
