Great game. It would be nice to see the minimum length of path we used to complete each level on level select screen. The total length of path used to clear all levels could also be in the highscores.
There is no mystery why you can't sell the first sword. It's clear Undefined made it this way to avoid hundreds of silly complaints like "I was dumb enough to sell all weapons I had on my savefile with 100+ days and now I can't do anything to win another one. Help I'm stuck..." So you should just accept it's for your own sake :P
Sniper challenge is not as hard as many people say it is. The main element here for speed sniping is to aim the next target BEFORE you reload just after you shot. If you don't move your mouse while reloading you just need to focus on wind and when you're back to fire just adjust your aiming in consequence (it should take you less than 1s each time except for the moving targets). Shot targets starting from close range left, then middle range lefts (2), center (moving left-right then moving up-down then center-left), left (2), and last but not least long range right and moving left.
534Nz's comment is false, upper arms and neck are vital parts but not head (nothing in the brain of a ragdoll obviously). Try it, having in mind the correct hit box will help you greatly.
Easiest strategy is to use the following combo with an agile wildcat: energy 1 then water 2 (on the same target, repeat water 2 until death) or for the last ~10 fights use animal 5 (to be almost invulnerable) and water 2 (cast 4-5 time water 2 on waizer and is dead, so 5-6 turns to beat him). Concerning stats, start boosting agility stats, then mind (except for intelligence) and then vigor. Concerning abilities, start with slash (you'll need to use counter-attack for the first part of the game), then fortitude (so you don't fear any spell), instinct, focus and do what you want after (armor and shield are nice).
