Sorry, my bad. I updated the game version due to errors in the German translation but when uploaded, I used a different file name :( So the progress was not saved. Currently, I can not change it back since it will hurt anyone who played the new version... Sorry. Saar.
@Ninjakiwi -- Would it be possible to allow game saves on apopalypse mode? My computer is pretty slow: it's a few years old and used to be a work device. I typically save every wave to avoid making the game laggy and to keep my computer from crashing. I can't get the "Apocalypse Ciao Badge" because my computer can't play through 30 waves at once. Could you add a save function for people like me with slower computers?
When I saw the crazy challenge I said, "Ok, this will be hard but it is doable." But insane? Wow, just wow. Great game overall 5/5. I really like all the different ways to customize with maps and cards.
I too was frustrated with the impossible badge until I figured out a good strategy. All you have to do is build the bottom row out one block wider on each side. Build up as usual from there and you shouldn't have a problem.
In general, I like playing breakout. However, this version is soooo slow. If the ball sped up as you cleared blocks or dropped the occasional special I'd enjoy it. But this version doesn't do anything like that. 1/5
Why do the instructions have to flash by that fast? Some of us can't read that quickly. If other sites didn't explain the rules, I don't know what I'd do.
I think the game was pretty fun. Not too hard to win, but frustrating enough that you care when you die. Fun music.
MY only negative comment: I wish the down arrow+C command would work a bit better -- most frustrating part of the game. I had a lot of trouble getting that command to work correctly.
Gravitee Wars is a rehash of the game Worms. The weapons are almost identical to those in Worms. Overall, Gravitee Wars is slightly less fun (no cute worms with cute sound effects) but more complicated in shooting (bend shots around planets).
I kept trying for the hard badge after falling just short several times. Now that I have the badge, I'm still playing in order to get the in-game achievements. Though the game is slightly frustrating at times it's very addicting and fun.
It's a good game. -- funny story and understandable biology. It took me a while to figure out level 6, but I realized I had the wrong approach. Once I figured out I needed tons of lysosomes I finished that level easily.
Caesary is fairly fun. It's decently complicated and has many in-game quests. You are able to build cities, explore wilderness, and fight other players. There are also technologies to invest in which improve your ability to build and upgrade your armies.
Unfortunately, it has a lot of flaws. There are still unresolved issues with players hacking the game. The game has serious issues with lag -- to the point that it sometimes prevents you from playing. Caesary also allows you to obtain many items that you essentially cannot use without paying real money for. And if you're unlucky you may find that a more experience user has grown bored and has made in their purpose in life to destroy your armies and colonize your cities.
If the game ran smoothly I'd say it was probably a 4-5 star game, but with all the issues it doesn't realize its potential.
