I would be able to finish the event if the prince would actually stop spamming me with 100 fragrances and candles everytime, which btw, the Gothel wannabe never asks about, and would actually give me what I need so I can actually progress!
Needing friends, so whoever is playing the game actively and is looking for other players to add, feel free to send in a friend request so we can help each other complete quests. ^^
For God's sake people, stop fighting in comments and on forums, spreading hate and cancel culture over a gosh darn game! I understand that most people might not enjoy visual novels, that's fine, but going as far as trashing onto a person and canceling them over and over again just because they followed their dream of creating a visual novel is just sick! You don't want to play the game, fine, don't do it! No one is forcing you to do so! You can get any week's companion by gaining only 1 friggin badge! And so far, there hasn't been any week with only Medieval Cop badges exclusively! Have we really stoop so low as a society just because not playing a game means not getting an extra crown on a fu*king bunch of pixels?! GET A LIFE PEOPLE!
(Part 2 of my tutorial comment)
- Hoplites on horses: their trigger is "It's you ugly!", "Get ready!", "Die" or simply "AAAARRRRGGGHHHH!", avoid with block (A).
- Arrows: triggers are "Archers", "Watch out!", "Incoming" and for the behind ones you either have "Watch your back!" or "Arrows from behind", avoid with block (A) front ones and duck (S) the ones coming in the back.
- Pursuitors (the ones in the last level chasing you): you can't avoid those, all you can do is speed up (D). You can indeed get a head start tho by speeding up right after you hear their trigger: "You are mine!" or "Slow down!".
- Last jump/ End of level: Speed up (D) when Hypolita screams "Speed up! Big jump ahead!" or "Big jump! We won't make it!" then jump (W) right before the obstacle (spikes pit or carriage with weath)
Hope it's useful.^^
Holly mother of God, this was a very intense game that really puts your reflexes to the test! I made it in 3 days (I could have finished yesterday, but my computer was having a laggy day and decided to f*ck up my last jump). Here's a list of all the obstacles and triggers as a tutorial for anyone interested into what they must look out for and how to block them:
- ground obstacles: they are usuall stones with blue tops, spikes and wooden traps. Avoid them with jump (W); other obstacles may be the tree branches (color pink) and tents, you avoid those by ducking (S).
- Farmers: their triggers are "You are dead slave!", "Where are you going?!", "STOP! STOOOPP!!!" and you avoid them by throwing spears (space bar)
- Hoplites: their triggers are "On to the glory!", "Commander", "See you in hell!" and are avoided with jump (W),
(more instructions in part 2 of the comment)
Impossible badge? More like a very tedious badge! It took me only 5 days to complete the sucker so it wasn't that impossible!
For anyone looking for a secret to achieve it too: focus first on the 120 stars, then milk as much points on the light category (like busta where I got 138, Jupiter where you can get 100+, guardian, beam balls, unit circle, icy cold, reflector which all have potential of 100+ points).
And idk if it helps too, but listening to anime openings or rock music in general can help ya focus more (or at least it worked for me, the powerful songs kinda busted my precision and relaxed me during the stressful levels).
Really fun game! Came in for BOTD, but stayed to finish it and get the hard badge and I gotta say, it was really fun!:D
Some levels were a tid bit more complicated to figure out, but that didn't cut from the fun factor and I gotta say I didn't even notice when I finished the last level (I was like "Wait, that's all? But I want more!:
Finally a game that made me understand how this type of puzzle game actually works. It was an ingenious ideea to actually add the feature of lighting up the places where the combination of filled squares is correct, it made it easier to figure out where the mistakes were.
I usually love RPGs, but this one is very boring. It actually forces you to grind character scrolls, upgrade gems (which take a hella lot to get) and past levels just to be powerful enough to barely finish 1 new level...
Tips for whomever wants the hard badge:
1.Don't expect to get it from the first or second try, keep practicing until you get used to the wonky mechanics.
2.Try killing the archers first, they are the most annoying as their stupid arrows can hit you at any minute no matter how far you are from them.
3.Don't try going for risky kills. It can work once or twice, but most of the time you'll die first.
4.After 50 or 60 kills they start to appear at a very fast rate, so instead of trying to kill each single ninja when they spawn, try to get lots of them ghatered into one spot (mostly the moddle) and go then for kills. This way you'll kill more at a single time and you can concentrate also onto evading arrows or incoming attacks.
Good luck!^^
Man, level 3 on hard mode is actually the hardest, but once you get past it, the hard badge is actually easy. Btw, I thought at first that I must click on the darn things to catch them and actually, all I got to do was to hover the mouse onto them... After I realized that, stuff got 50% easier. .-.
One of the easiest hard badges ever and a really nice game overall. I would recommend for anyone in the mood to relax and also put their mind to a lil concentration test.:)
I really got to love this game and in the end I didn't even notice when I passed 350 meters. XD I got up tp 384 m and probably I would have gotten even higher but I got distracted by the score counter and I was like "OMG, I passed 350!". XD
Yeah, some levels are actually rigged and are solely based on luck, so this badge should totally be rated at least as a hard badge if not impossible. Took me 30 mins, a walktrough and probably 100 tries to beat it, that is far above medium.:|
If you don't get the badge, just report it to the missing badge by sending them a screen shoot of the finished game screen. I got mine today after a day or two of waiting.:3
True, it's actually super rigged and it's solely based onto luck. It took me over 100 tries (or more) to get the medium badge and the only tips I can give are: follow Aaants's comment from 2010 (it's the 3rd comment in BEST list) and pray to not get windows (or if you do, pray that they aren't low range ones that are impossible to pass).
heyoo, thanks! (:
