So, I just loaded up the game, and I am disappointed that (since this is a new laptop) I lost my progress. Luckily, I still seem to have Battle Mountain (which I won in a contest). With Flash dying in a few months, will there be a way to convert a pass from this version into the steam version, or will I have to buy the game?
Nice to see such a vocal dev! I'd personally love to hear music and sound effects in this game, and maybe have a smaller aggro range for the fish? The pink fish next to the shop murder me every time I head right, fresh from the store.

Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it :) I'm definitely in favor of sound as well. Really the only reason I left it out was so I could develop the game faster. I'm trying to crank out a lot of prototypes so I'm cutting corners where I can to just test if the gameplay is enjoyable. After the prototypes are done I'll figure out which one of them to turn into a full version. If this is the game chosen I'll definitely be giving the map a facelift and avoiding trouble spots such as fish aggro too close to the shops.
In my opinion: Needs music.

The swarm of flies is actually a pretty capable choice for exploring and rushing bosses and secret cameo characters. They're fast, so they can outmaneuver enemies and hit-and-run with their quick, fast-recharging bite attack, and they can fly, which means they can reach the boss arena at the Elven city and the cameo / joke spawn above the caves. Their health is also surprisingly not that shabby for a cloud of insects. Overall a more capable scout than the parrot or cucco.
@sirgarberto You know these are all from a sprite pack, right? You can't change other people's work.

I don't know why people are downvoting the flash question. Chrome is getting more aggressive with phasing out Flash. You actually have to switch on "Ask first" in chrome settings, now.
I can't recommend using Chrome for Flash games at all, and am considering dropping official support sooner rather than later because they keep on adding more and more obstacles ahead of the 2020 roadmap. There have been quite a few Chrome-specific issues in the past and there will likely be increasingly more in the future as well. I use and recommend Firefox currently myself. The Download Edition is also an option that bypasses Flash entirely since it's packaged into an .exe using Adobe AIR instead. It’s available on Discord/Itch.io/Kartridge/Steam.
