Also, getting the Nova-Bomb power up thing on wave 19 where the space invaders are coming after you like a swarm of mosquitos was probably one of the more satisfying experiences in my life.
I agree with Taz. The game is great but the controls are wonky. I think part of it could just be fixed if instead of being controlled by the mouse it was controlled by they arrow keys. Slowing the plane's movement might make it seem a but more intuitive, I'm not sure.
It's creative and I like the gemcrafting mechanic. My major complaint, though, is the sound. Whenever you're in a level there is an annoying static noise that really needs to go.
Needs more badges. Distance traveled, top speed, highest elevation before getting into space, money earned.
There are so many dimensions we can be measured on.
The controls are not working for me. If I hit the up arrow once the bar goes all the way up and never comes down when I hold the down arrow. Same thing with the left and right arrows. The paddle ends up going all the way to the side and doesn't come back.
Great concept, but the level design is kind of poor. Some shots are designed where you actually just need to keep on trying a whole bunch of times to get it right. It makes the game frustrating rather than challenging.
