Well, I went away some time and came back to see if worthy updates had been implemeted since, and that's the case! Once again, great job dev, those updates are perfect! 6/5 !
This game has great potential! The music is wisely chosen, designed (I guess) to keep you focused and drawn in, that's excellent! Graphics are neat yet simple, which is perfect! Only one small complain abotut the map, which is a wee bit too small I think, but that's in the same time a good thing as it requires you to focus more, so well, it's not entirely bad. A lot of inventive stuff as it has already been said, like the possibility to block incoming bullets, good idea you had here! Hope you're going to implement a few other updates! Will come back to check it out!
Thank you so much for your kind comments! for sure I'll give more love to this game, I'm really proud of myself for being part of the team that made this game. <3
Did someone noticed the poetry lines hidden in the game? When hovering my mouse on "Hatching more has diminishing returns" for Nightbugs I have "Often seen in a company of an ice fairy, a singing sparrow and a ball of darkness" or for Lepidoptera, "on the one ton temple bell/a moon moth, folded into sleep/sits still" and finally for bats:"Bats aren't bugs!" "Lokk, who's giving this report? You chowderheads...or me?!"
I was not really into squirmish turn based games until I play this one, custom system is great and leveling characters too, plus the science-fiction design of it. Nicely done guys.
A good idea, integrate philosophical thinking in a game, but above the technical problems concerning the game in itself, I just found very manichean the choices that you have to do when you are at the end of a level you know, to choose between "yes" or "no",if we consider the questions which are asked to the player, there is a lot of thing to say...
Thank you haha!
