Five tier fives with a tier four versus five tier sixes with a tier four isn't really fair... I'm not saying it's impossible to win, but in that situation, the odds of winning aren't even remotely balanced. The people who platoon that way are smart folks, but it really doesn't make it fun for the people matched heavily unfairly against them.

2007?! Damn, I remember playing this game a long time ago on another site but I couldn't imagine that about eight years had gone by. Sort of helps that despite its flaws it was a pretty innovative (and still good) game.
Maybe this is probably a problem I have, but why does my gun sometimes lock on target indefinitely (until they move out of sight) on auto aim? I rarely press the right mouse button, and when I do use it, it does nothing to affect auto aim.
Sort of makes me feel worthless as a college student. Like, compared to what all the other folks ahead of us are getting done, we've done essentially jack shit aside from getting the ball rolling.
Holy damn, those dodos are a force to be reckoned with! Several home worlds strong and they still practically kept the same damn "no f*cks given" face throughout the game.
Lol, the enemy outflanked a section of my men so hard, they glitched through our forces and went deep into our territory, permanently stopping my game from continuing.
Haven't played in a while and...what the hell man. They say I'm not allowed to block an entrance way with a barricade ("invalid") because it would be unfair to those who'd like to attack my compound... That's strange, because I made the barricades and placed them where they stand so I wouldn't have people lining up to attack me! Unfair to attackers my ass, that's the point of resource defending! There was nothing wrong with putting it there before!
I'm reminded by this game that even the most "simple" of modern firearms to run, such as AKs, are marvels of human engineering. Not many moving parts, but there are still many other essential bits that make the AK and other guns as they are.
Thank you to the men and women that continue to advance humanity, regardless of whether you create a weapon or a computer.
Lol, at the last mission, I just waited for my fire support to be available and kept using each one accordingly as I could use em; not a single allied soul lost and the enemy had turned into broken steel and bodily mush.
I always feel somewhat sad for firing the workers when a troublesome situation arises. I know it's pathetic but when you think about it, they don't actually do anything to deserve such punishment at all. Hell, they're smiling while doing their jobs (indicating they don't mind the work) so I can't help but feel damn guilty at doing such a thing. Maybe I'm just weird, but I often get sympathetic at something that can even be slightly relatable to the real world.
Oi, I know that the developers need to feed themselves by payments and whatnot, but could the cost of fuel for making severe-level supplies get lowered a bit or something? I mean, I don't mind finding materials to make the lvl 4 medical stuff and whatnot, but making me choose on whether to pay 20 fuel to get one medical tape over going out with crippled people to try to find said tape (which is horridly rare in my case) really isn't what I was going for.
Ironically, the things that injure me the most are things that are supposed to be relatively harmless in the real world (e.g bunnies, inanimate tombstones, and mushrooms).
While the AI is good, it has a few faults. When you want a character to go somewhere and there apparently are teammates nearby, the person dashes into them and moves slowly. It’s for this very reason that missions sometime end up in failures. You order a member to move away from the teammates that are under attack from a horde, but they walk into the crowd, allowing them to be slowed and swarmed. Also, the medics cowering when they are in too much pressure does get annoying at times, since they decide that cowering takes priority over trying to save themselves. After many missions where these medics have had to deal with the daily stress living in an apocalypse, you would expect that they have toughened up at least to the point where they're psychologically and emotionally ready for the challenges.
Overall though, the AI is very good. I'm no coder nor am I the type of person intelligent enough to design such bots so I shouldn't complain more anyway...yeah I've said too much lol.
