Pretty nice and addictive, plus I always liked most of DCSS tiles. 3/5 for two naughty bugs 1) "Graphics" of some items and gold don't disappear sometimes and keep "lying" all over the place and they can not be collected, furthermore they don't disappear even on ascending or data clear. 2) Fighter with good range, speed and attack speed sometimes doesn't attack (even when enemies are just 1 tile in front of him) until being attacked (this leads to aggring too much enemies at once) and a couple of times stopped attacking in a boss fight and didn't start over even after death and revival (he wasn't stunlocked).
"A* || ^A*" as said by Shakespeare. AI is little bit stupid, game dynamic is A LITTLE BIT too fast (and/or boring) for idle game, yet too slow for rpg/crpg/whatever. Game concept is good overall (4/5). Wish you good luck with release version. // Hooray for 8oo8s in my highscore - unfortunately kong devs will never be able to completely isolate client-side running script from various interventions.
Funny bug: i was able to accept black dragon quest when i was like 20 lvl or smth. So i went just to look at it and accidentally killed it (it got stuck) after ~30 minutes of combat.
GG. Reminds me of cannon fodder, snake soldiers and some old NES game (i don't even remember it's name). Still I'm not too satisfied with the fact, that your algorithm uses my current rank/gold to generate enemies so the better was my previous run the harder it gets next time. Kind of logical, but seems a bit unfair to me.
BerzerkStudio, please think about some item amount caps or selling items for gold or smth else. I have 105 humans and 102 imps, however i will NEVER be able to use more than 90 of them (size of squads). Also I will never be allowed to use all of my 8 behemots or 100 thunder staffs (point limit), so I would like them to stop appearing in packs I buy (or at least to have "low priority" or smth).
Too addictive and time consuming. Campaing is a bit short and easy (probably I was just lucky enough to get the right stuff from packs). Otherwise great game 4/5.

1 The game is not easy at all
2 You definetly haven't tried difficulty above normal on last levels
3 If the game is so easy why don't I see any of you in High Scores tab?
P.S.: Apocalypse mode solves your problem with "not powerfull last wave"
SUDDENLY it works on another site.
So either version problem or problem with kong API.
However it doesn't seem, that developer is worried about malfunction.
At first I was like "Uhh i like RPGs and TDs but this game is too hard for me" but then i got the point. "Max spellcasting for energy girl and hoarde trainees, lvlups only when no cell is free". 3/5
Noted! Hopefully next week I'll have those fixed.
