Slow mode must not be enabled if you want the badge. Also, fun fact! Berserk stacks endlessly, so if your INT is high enough that the cooldown time is shorter than the duration, you can refresh the duration and the effects will continue building. I had over 200% attack speed and 800 HP when I finished this last run.
Yea, I actually only noticed that today and that could be why people were missing the badge so thanks for pointing that out! Max Int builds are fun and it's a bit of a present to players that figure that out :P
Every time I see one of your games, I check Steam for it. In this case, I already had it. Folks, if you like this, the Relaxing Puzzle Box bundle is a good deal.
Feels more prone to difficulty spikes than the previous game. I never have to worry about HP attrition, just getting pulverized by an unexpected challenge.
A pretty solid game, but Choppy Orc has such a different feel and execution compared to Sleepy Knight and One Trick Mage. Both other games featured a gradual build-up of challenge, introducing new mechanics and obstacles over time, whereas Choppy Orc starts out with everything he'll need by the end and the only addition to mechanics comes in the form of chopping ghost posts and utilizing the boomerang function to hit bats one couldn't normally reach. The lack of tutorial or knowledge gating is palpable; this feels like a challenge level pack for an otherwise nonexistent game. I liked it overall, but I feel this could have been so much better fleshed out.
I'm assuming many of the visuals will be touched up as the game progresses through development. One thing I'd definitely add is a "clear all" button, sanitized so that it only functions with the relevant manipulation coverage areas of course. When dealing with 6+ sets of wires, it starts to get tedious if you want to strip everything and start from scratch.
I feel like the premise of the game is undermined by its execution. You never have just three seconds, you just manage your use of time in blocks of three seconds. The fact that you often have clusters of time boosters right at the start of the level doesn't help.
Norrix seems absurdly more powerful than all the other bosses -- I can beat everything up to Despair on Insane, but Norrix thrashes me on Brutal, no contest. I don't even see what's causing so much damage; I just go from 600+ HP to 0 instantly at random.
