Okay, I'm sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere. There's this red barbed wire-looking thing around my dust jars. What is it and what does it do? Is it good or bad?
I think it bears repeating that the scaling in this game is really skewed. I've hit a point where I can get 350 ash runes in a matter of minutes, if it even takes that long, but I've been waiting several days to be able to get to 400 to complete my run. The prestige bonuses are starting to become really small; less than a 5% boost every time I prestige.
I can't imagine going much further than the hard badge for this game, if I can even get that far.

Not sure if it's just because I suck, but this feels a lot harder than your typical medium badge, even excluding the idle games. My strategy was where I just basically ignored the yetis and shoveled a lot of snow, going around in large circles and only really moving out of my set pattern to avoid yetis that spawned in the way. Since yetis don't level up unless you kill them, you can just let a few hundred stockpile up. Once then (My cutoff point was 250 for the badge), make some sniper towers and kite them, throwing snowballs while the towers do most of the work. The problem is that the yetis level up really, really fast afterwards, so be quick to kill the level 1 yetis before you get overwhelmed by the nasty ones.

Okay, so there's a little bit of a beginner's trap with this game. There are two distinct stats called Range: One is indicated by a bow and arrow icon, which boosts the damage of range-type weapons such as the pistol. The other is indicated by a magnifying glass, which increases the distance that a bullet can travel. Be careful not to get the two mixed up!
I can just imagine the game developers being like "Oh, you guys think dual wielding guns is unrealistic? Well, we quad wield guns here! How about that?!"
There's one thing I don't understand about this game. How do I upgrade equipment? I know I use the workbench, but it never shows anything as having an upgrade available.
I think one thing that might help this game out a little bit would be to give us the exact drop rates of certain items from missions. For example, I need two gun barrels. Instead of a mission saying that it can give a gun barrel, maybe make it show a 12% chance of getting a barrel drop (no, it's not actually 12% probably. I'm just making up random numbers.)
@Kimhojung After reaching the end of the first area and defeating the Cookinator, you unlock rifts. Every time you successfully bust through the door in a rift, you get one page and the difficulty increases. To get the Impossible badge, you have to get enough pages to buy the gummy bag in the ??? store, which is only visible once you unlock rifts.
I'm not sure if it's just me, but this game seems like it's actively breaking in front of me. Most of the descriptions for everything is developer names for things, such as #main_window_journey_subtitle_1. Refreshing didn't fix this and it's been going on for a few days now.
So, I've been playing for a while, and I found that you can get free gems daily/weekly/monthly from going to the Deals tab on the left side of the main screen, then scrolling down to the bottom and clicking Daily/Weekly/Monthly, then scrolling down to the bottom of that menu. It's not a big boost, but every gem helps the pain go by that little bit faster.
I wasn't aware just how lopsided battles are in favor of card rarity. I was throwing myself against a wall nonstop, unable to proceed in the campaign at all and being stuck in League 22... but then out of my free gems, I pulled a legendary prince. Now, I'm steamrolling everything without an issue. Just imagine how much stronger I could be if I just paid a ton of money to get all the good heroes right away. Just disgustingly pay to win. I knew it was bad, but I never realized it was this bad.
This is the third time now I've had to play through this game. Once on mobile years ago (unfortunately, my battery exploded), once on this site like a month or two ago, when my save was lost for some unknown reason and now for the badge grind. I do generally like this game, even despite the grind on a single playthrough, but three is kinda a bit much for me.
FunnyMan, are you aware of the concept of Ironman? If not, the concept is that you play these sort of games self-sufficiently. I want to do an Ironman run for the impossible badge because I like suffering.
@Fiddletink Descriptions for these are at the bottom of the page in the relevant tabs. For those three you listed, Blessed increases the stats of all heroes by that percentage when a hero is healed, but resets on a restart, whether prestiged or everyone is defeated. Synergy lets a paladin heal a percentage of what they hit and hits for a percentage of what they heal. Morale gives a stat boost for every paladin alive, stacking with multiple paladins.
@Talen45 You'll have to respec your character in the Heroes tab, second from the left. Your characters will take a different role depending on their stats.
