I have a power… I pick up a book, and I literally become part of the story. I don’t know how, but somehow I end up INSIDE the book. You may think I’m crazy, but people have witnessed this happen. They say the book stays open, then pages magically turn till I reach the end, and come out… I’ve even come out at the end injured. I’ve fought battles, cast spells, and ruled kingdoms, I’ve even saved lives that were said to be completely unsaveable. You may ask how long these adventures take me… all I have to say is it depends on the stories. Sometimes it takes days, others weeks, but the longest so far has been a month. Sometimes I worry if I’ll make it out of a book alive, or die. Other times I don’t care, I just need an adventure. I do tend to wonder though… Is there someone else like me? Do they know how to control this, and would they teach me? Or am I on my own? I may never know these things, but I will search for answers.
