can anyone else get a piece that isn't realistic movement into the academy? i got masterpieces in art noveau, impressionism, post-impressionism... nothing. the game starts of great, but doesn't make a whole lot of sense at the end of the day.
I think this game is a great combo of sports and RPG elements, and I wish developers would make more games like these because I really enjoy that.
To make it even better (for the sequel, bcz there will be a sequel, right?!), you could add more situations within the game, e.g. where you defend a player and steal the ball away from them instead of intercepting, where there is a cross and you try for headers, etc.
Also, while being patient with the energy early on is key here, you could add other ways that you could get energy because the price of drinks is quite steep at the beginning, so maybe if there were a minigame to recover a chunk that you could only do once a day or something like that. Anyways, keep up the good work!
Hit the random button. It's much better than wasting your time filling all the boxes. It will go forever with crazy designs. I just did one that didn't stabilize into certain shapes or patterns until after over 2000 steps
solid improvement, very nice work. hotkeys would still make it so much easier. upgrading can get tedious, especially with having to click specifically on the x. maybe just clicking on another unit would bring you to their box? or hotkeys for changing between heroes... #1-6 for placing units, one for each... things like that would make the experience much more smooth imo.
you know how Shakespeare wrote so many great plays that some scholars say it was more than one person, writing under the same name?
In like 500 years, they will be arguing the same thing about the "true identity" of Nerdook
