Just mentioning a bug I had in my last game. I placed a camnet and it instead used the sprite of a destroyed radar. It seemed to move the sprite from the site of an actual destroyed radar a little ways away. The glitch was only visual, as it still acted like a camnet, but hey I thought I might as well mention it.
@Reaper3742 As much as I agree with your argument, I must interject that since you only have one point to stand on, the "All-in-all" is rather pointless.
Oh, yeah, nice shadow effects. Oh hey they're on the fighters too. That's kinda cool. Oh man, when these things get shot down they actually spiral? Sweet! ...wait, my own turret? Wait, this is in 3D? Wait, this is only beta? WAIT, THIS IS ****ING AMAZING! Fav'd, 5 stars, and my god, that female commander looks like a hippie. That is all there really is to say on the matter.
It's like destroy the tower, but you can't go to another tab and check back every few minutes. A way to make it more of a progressing idle game would be nice. Also, some kind of final objective, of course.
Five starts, favorited. I'd go on to write a big review about the game, it's meaning, and maybe a bit of critique on the gameplay like I normally do...but Holy Merciful Christ, that was an amazing game. The gameplay was perfect, the plotline, simple but at the same time so deep and emotional, the greater meaning...that's the best part about this game: There isn't one. It's just the sad story of a man that went insane because his girlfriend died. No symbolism, no importance, no nothing. It's just another game on Kongregate. The only difference is this one makes you feel sad, and that, combined with the awesome gameplay and excellent graphics, makes it a masterpiece.
Easily my favorite top-down shooter of all time, but there are a few things I'd like to point out. The background is extremely boring...I mean, blank grey with little dots on it? At least make it colourful like the menu. In fact, the menu background would look pretty sweet. Also, when using the mouse to play (The obvious choice for me), if you move the mouse too fast a little dot will appear showing where the ship is headed. This is a great system, but the dot is so tiny that it looks like part of the background. Make it bigger and more colourful, or at least more noticeable. I understand that this is made this way so that it doesn't distract the player, but there must be a compromise. Maybe making it a touch larger and a different colour, but also making it fade in with other objects on the screen, such as enemies and bullets. Still, a great game that's original and fresh, worth a 5 star rating.
The number one problem that every level has is the control(s). If you aren't running forward, you shoot back so fast it's ridiculous! And yet, using the arrow keys to go backwards makes you go slower, the same speed as if you were going forwards. This should not be the case! Going backwards should make you speed back, and not pressing any key should make you slowly slide back or stand still.
Despite the difficulty, it's clearly a well thought out game. A bunch tweaks and a couple of major changes, and it'd earn a five stars. Because of it's unrelenting difficulty, though, I'm sorry to say that this game only earns 3 of those stars.

The airplane level was by far the easiest, but it would be nice if you fixed the hitboxes of the birds, and made them all actually be on level with the plane or slightly above it. Half of them are below the plane or way above it, and out of reach. For the bouncy ball level...oh jesus, this is freaking impossible. Those bouncy balls should all be at least high enough to be able to sprint under, and not so close to each other. The dolphin/shark/whale/whateverthedevilitis level is okay, but it's problem ties in with the one I'll mention in my next comment.
Okay.
This is a beautiful game with simple but amusing graphics, and a nice simple plot that ends very happily. Some have analysed it to be considerably symbolic as well. The gameplay, though, needs some work.
The randomness factor needs to be toned WAY down. The various obstacles one comes across should go along a much more consistent trajectory, especially the bouncing ball level. There are just too many balls that bounce just high enough that it's nearly impossible to get over them, and even if you do, there's a huge chance that another one will be so close behind that you can't clear that one. Here's how each level should go: The police level should have those spiky things shot at so they land ahead of the elephant, but on the ground. The money level is okay, but maybe make the money a little more spread out.

While I understand that different people have their own opinions on games, I have to say this is one of the more disappointing ones. Not because of gameplay, or graphics, or music...in fact, this game does nothing wrong at all. The problem is that it's not in any way unique. This is just another running game with a different mode where you shoot stuff. There's no real challenge unless you lack basic motor skills, and the game gets boring and repetitive early. I think only two things have gotten this game it's undeserved popularity. One: the plain comedic idea of a turnip running through a...I guess it's a wasteland or something. Two: the "cuteness" aspect of the aforementioned turnip.
I'm giving it a 2/5 for not being as bad as some of the really horrible games on this site, but nothing higher because it doesn't really seem all that revolutionary.
TL;DR:
It's okay. Try to make something more challenging and unique. Not the worst game I've seen, for sure.
Okay, this is a great story, sure. I think I understand the ending from the comments, but damn, dude! You messed up with the gameplay. Some would call this a "fast-paced" game. I call it harder than hitting a grain of sand with a bow and arrow from a hot air balloon while trapped in a cloud. The story was good, the graphics were fine, but the gameplay was horrible. The enemies were too fast and too strong. The first time I got pissed off was the part when you first drop into the underworld. Remember, the room with the two bats and the snake? Talk about beginners trap! Seriously, if you don't get out of the way, you die. In the first half a second. Then, you have to turn around in midair and shoot the bat flying at you, followed by landing, turning, and shooting at the snake and second bat. Even after I managed to figure that out, I spent 10 mins pulling it off. But it's symbolic, right? I agree. However, that is NOT an excuse to make a game impossible.
Next: Enemies.

Then, at the end, it asks you this question: Are you a boy, or a girl? Let's say you picked man at the start and that throughout the game they have been calling you a girl. If you select Boy, you are a Man (A chooser) and a man (A male adult). If you choose girl, you are a Slave, but a Woman. You are a Woman because you have grown up enough to be obedient, but a slave because you let the game make you think that you are a girl. That's how I understood this game, but there is a lot more in the game to think about, and this is only one of millions of opinions.
