To get a high score in Epic pyramid Battle: Equip Critical ring and 60000 gun (6 power, 25 speed) and put 20 points on quick attack, 20 (or as many as you can) on Combo Absorb. Constantly use quick attack and press combo absorb every 25-35 hits. Ive got low 2000s off this method, and it works very well.
Just wanted to thank Tukkun for the awesome lolmarket! I've made so many green coins off this, and have gained over 50 levels due to the rewards. Just might be one of the best features ever put in. Thanks =P
It is definitely worth buying items in the pixel shop. Your attack will be much better with the 350k gun than with a stick. You can live without the Armour, but its still good.

Actually, you get more attack in the end. 2k pixels is 5 attack for me. So if you get 500 pixels now, you make an extra ap per 5 times.
