Perhaps the best launch game I have ever played. Flying controls add a bit more interest than such games usually have, and the fit and finish is very nice.
This game has some really nice ideas, but the execution felt fiddly and annoying to me. Maybe I'm just not fond of puzzles that rely so much on timing.
The economic system is out of whack. Recruiting and outfitting a team takes way too much grinding to get cash. Combat system is interesting, but pounding away on armor turn after turn gets dull fast.
Echoing a lot of what others are already saying: inventory management is buggy, auto-equip takes away the ability to customize to suit your character type, difficulty is *punishing* but inconsistent. I really want to love this game, but it has a way to go.
Enough comments like this and you'll find yourself playing a sequel so awesome you'll forget how to operate in the real world.
